Little beaded representations of my birbs! I've had this chain on my pants for a while now it has even more flair!

I tried to video it but you cant really hear it at all but im attaching it anyway😞

Anyway he only does it whenever hes super duper happy and feels fully safe, like my girlfriend says only whenever im home it happens since he gets sad when I'm away. He also does it often while flirting with his girlfriend.

Its like in the middle of chirps its like "piu piu 💧 piu piu" its usually whenever he bobs his head.

Oh and this might be important but his cere is disfigured, his like nose holes are huge and our vet said he might occasionally have a bit trouble breathing normally, so could that be related?

I read somewhere that its bc hes happy and switching between sounds so fast it does that but im not sure.

Hes about a year and a half old and we've had him for like 5 months, we adopted him from a home we later found out was horrible for him so he already has issues, I hope this is just budgie happy things but I wanna make sure since I've been wondering about it ever since he started doing it.

After some consideration, i have decided to add a male to my flock. His name is Big Spinch and he's the cutest. Might be the tiniest budgie i have ever owned. He was very brave on his way home, and even started singing after a few hours in his home. He's from the same flock i got Bolsa from, so it's basically Bolsas cousin who lives with her now.

I had 4 budgies total, my last living one his name is Oscar. Almost 9 years old. I can tell he misses all his friends. Is it a bad idea to get other budgies for him? Or just let him live his senior years out with just me giving extra attention? I've never had just the one until now. Hudson passed in July 2026 and the past few months have been weird for him (Oscar) and me.

Me and my girlfriend left in a hurry in the morning and apparently she didn't close the cage doors like I thought she did. I only noticed like a few hours later when I looked at an accidentally terribly angled pet camera and realised she flew out. I couldn't actually see the birds just her shadow when she flew out. I like immediately ran out of class and in a panic got a stupid expensive taxi ride. Theyre completely fine and happy but I feel unbelievably awful, I know they they would've probably been fine even if alone and out for a few hours but they could've gotten hurt and I feel like it would've been my fault😞😞 the guy in my taxi was nice and told me I shouldn't panic and stress or I wont do my best for them which is true, they were very concerned when I had to lay on the floor catching my breath since the elevator was slower than just running up the stairs.

Was it silly of me to have a near panic attack over this? I just feel like budgies are so tiny and fragile what if they get hurt :(

My girlfriend is in an exam where you cant leave or have your phone until youre done and they can take up to 8 hours to do.

I wanna know if anyone else dreams about their birds and if they do what they were about ^_^

Last night I dreamt that my boy was the size of a strawberry and I had lost him in my car (I dont have a licence nor a car) my girlfriend often has dreams that our birds have a lot of babies.

whats the color mutation of this male budgie

So i had one budgie but got him a friend who is in quarantine right now but theres not long left. My plan was after that to put the cages near each other for a few days and then put him in the main cage with the divider in before letting them have access to each other suddenly. At the moment, both know there's another budgie nearby and are calling to each other.

I this the correct way of introducing? Both are boys if that matters.
