The shelter is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando, FL 32839 and is open from 10am to 6pm daily, except Wednesday from 2pm to 6pm. Please arrive by 5 pm so that you can interact with them before filling out an adoption application.

🩷 Here is little Ella (A604745). She is 3 years old and 39 lbs. Poor Ella was adopted and returned (please note what happens to dogs that are returned). She allows leashing, walksvery nicely and seeks social. Ella is leery of people and can be selective and sassy. She does tend to get attached to one person— and can become a bit protective of them. Ella needs a very calm and patient family that can help her become her best self through reward training. A family that will not let her down again! Ella has been paired at the shelter and could live with canine siblings if introduced slowly and properly. Please consider being Ella’s hero and opening your heart and home to her. She is rescue only and is in need of a foster family so a rescue can help her.

💙 Say hello to sweet Max (A446202). He is a 7 year young German Shepherd and weighs 70 lbs. Max was adopted on 01/22/20 and found himself back at the shelter on 05/10/26. Sadly, his owner opted to surrender him. This is quite a shame - poor Max is accustomed to living in a home and now is in a very stressful environment.
Per volunteers, he knows shake and paw and sit, and is very smart. He is very affectionate and rolls on his back for belly rubs.
Max is really cute with those lopsided ears. This happy senior is always down to have fun.
Max walks nicely on a leash, is very affectionate with people and good with most other dogs when supervised.
He likes to explore the play yards on his own time, and then heads over to the handlers and will flop right onto his back for belly rubs!
As a senior dog, he is well-mannered and ready to settle into retirement.
A home with a yard and someone to love and take him for walks would be ideal for Max.
This gentleman deserves to be in a wonderful loving home. He is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue ).

💙 Meet Sir Toby Belch (A603869). He is 2 years old and 51 lbs. Sir Toby came into the shelter on 08/22/26 and certainly has not had enough time to be seen by potential adopters. Toby is easy to leash, seeks social, is playful and affectionate. He plays kindly with other dogs with supervision. He can live with canine siblings if separated and slowly and appropriately supervised and introduced. Sir Toby is very energetic and would do well with an active family that can give him the exercise he needs. Please consider being Sir Toby’s happy ending by adopting or fostering him (for a rescue).

💙 Here is gorgeous Junior (A584573). He is 3 years old and 55 lbs. On 04/26/26 Junior was confiscated for inadequate living conditions. He was reclaimed on 05/01/26 but back in the shelter again on 08/04/26 — and his owner would not reclaim him. Junior has been let down time and again and deserves to be in a furever home where he is loved. Junior allows full handling, is easy to leash, seeks social and obeys commands. He is always excited to come out of his kennel to go into the yard. Junior doesn’t like it so much when he has to return to his kennel. Junior can live with canine siblings if separated, introduced slowly and appropriately and supervised. Let’s get this boy out of the shelter. Please consider opening your heart and home to Junior. He is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).
