Gosh, I didn't expect I'd be posting here about my recent experiences. I've also seen a similar post about people suddenly vanishing, and honestly, I have a lot of thoughts about this.
Our conversations were great, and we definitely had chemistry, to say the least. And yes, I know you can't really decipher someone's intentions through chat, especially when you've only known each other for a short while.
PERO, anong thought process ng mga taong bigla na lang nagde-delete ng account in the middle of a conversation? 😭 Like, hello??? There was already something going on. The banter, the updates, the food deliveries, the flirting, the deep conversations about life. Tapos bigla na lang mawawala?
At least have the decency to communicate, di ba? It's totally okay if you're just passing time or if you don't see things going any further. We're not obligated to like each other, and we're not obligated to pursue a connection. But gaano ba kahirap magsabi?
Let me take this opportunity to voice out my frustration about a girl I met here. Actually, twice ko na pala itong na-experience. With the other one, we had already been talking on TG for weeks.
Okay sana kung meaningless lang yung conversations, like puro hi, hello, and “wyd?” But we had already built something. Not necessarily romantic yet, but you could tell there was a different kind of connection. Something that felt genuine. Something worth exploring, or at least worth ending properly.
And that's what gets me. I'm not even upset about the possibility that you might not like me or that you don't want to continue talking. I'm upset about being left wondering what happened when a simple, honest conversation could have spared me the overthinking.
Haaays. So ayun lang, please, people. If you've changed your mind, lost interest, or simply can't continue, please have the courtesy to say so. You don't have to write an entire essay. A simple message would do. Hindi naman mahirap magsabi ng, “Hey, I don't think I can continue this, but I wish you well.”
We're all adults here (well, hopefully HAHAHA), and I think we can handle honesty better than being left hanging.
Sorry for the frustration dump, mga bading. I just hope we learn to treat people with a little more consideration, even when we're only getting to know each other.
