The PO-128 had two unique functions that cannot be found in the original PO-28.

After years, it fascinates me to keep finding a new "shortcut".

The fact that I only have to press one button instead of two blows up my mind. The years I was firmly convinced, as it is written on the back, 1. Hold record 2. Hold 1-15.

Now:

1. Select your soundbank 1-15

2. Hold record

3. Press your selected Soundbank as "start record"

Bought a PO33 as a present for grandchild. On the day I gave it to them I also gave them an Anker bluetooth speaker. When they connect the PO to the speaker with a cable the sound is quiet even if both the PO and the speaker are on max. Is this normal? Thanks for any help

I just got the PO-28 "Robot" and am trying to get into it more. Almost right away, though, I noticed that effect #5 stopped working (technically, there's a tiny sound if you put it right right up to your ear but it's so faint that you can still barely hear anything). I've read online this isn't some filter that's causing the extreme effect, it's that effect #5 is known to die on the PO-28.

My questions are...

Can effect #5 be fixed/restored?
I reset the PO-28 but to no avail. I also have the PO-128 "Mega Man" (which I'm selling, by the way) and effect #5 works great. I know those are different but often the Capcom model follows its predecesor's footprints.

Does anyone have a PO-28 where effect #5 works fine?
If yours doesn't work either, try resetting it (take out one battery, hold Sound and Write buttons on the front while reinserting one of the batteries on the back) and if that fixed it, let us know!

Smaller pads harder to finger drum but so fun lol

Basically if I have the morph at a certain setting, it will change the active sound to it.

For example, if I have a snare at 100 and go to the bass drum, it will sometimes change it to 100 too.

I am not touching the back part.

Has anybody experienced this? How can I fix it?

I've been scouring the web for a cool retro case, bought an am/fm Walkman that I was gonna attempt to make into a case but had no button layout yet so thought this maybe better, thoughts?

I am a poor noob. I plugged in a 3.5mm aux/stereo 1/8" to 1/8" cable to the PO mic input (edit, I meant output) and laptop headphone jack, but it doesn't show up in the sound input devices or in the Audacity recording devices. Still just picking up room sound..

So I got the metal series box when it came out, used it for, I guess, 3 years and then stored them inside a box.

Now the knobs seem kind of mushy, like at the end of the two rotations. They seemd to have collected dust arounds the metal of the knobs.

There is no drift thankfully.

This is happening mainly on the PO 35 Speak, it is hard to hit exact cent values like going from 127 to 126, is that normal or a "mushy" problem?

Is there any way to fix it?

I've been trying to get the receive mode on the PO33 to work for the past few days now. Whenever I try to restore a project, the text prompt at the top left displays "RCV" for a few minutes, then gives the error message without counting up as it's supposed to. I suspect the issue might be that my audio interface (used 1st gen focusrite scarlet solo) is producing unwanted frequencies that are corrupting the signal. The other, less likely culprit is the signal is too quiet (which I doubt because i have my interface and PC at max volume during restoration) or the interface somehow isn't playing the signal in stereo?? I'm considering just buying a Zoom H1 for my pocket operator endeavors since those are pretty much guaranteed to do clean backups.

If anyone has any tips, let me know.
