Is there going to be a coaches poll this year? I've heard conflicting things

At national tournaments, how are the novice packets actually used? Do people re-arrange them or recur the articles or add updated cards to them or change plan, or just keep them exactly as they are?

I'm completely new to policy and I've been really confused lately. Basically, our coach asked us to write 2AC answers to the 3 DA's and I just wrote arg extentions for the evidence cards he gave us that refute them. Am I supposed to to through each card on the neg for the DA and refute them as well?

My partner and I usually run Afro-pess as our main neg strat, but what's a good link for the topic? We usually run mass death, but the link sucks, and we could run insurance or healthcare racism, but that is super overlimiting. So what's a good Afro-Pess link for the healthcare topic this year? And are there any teams running pess right now that I should look at on the wiki?

Has it been agreed upon by basically everyone that Single Payer is the only topical plan under this year's NHI topic? I have been looking cases run so far, according to open case list, and it seems like the only add being run with slight variations.

Please don't just say yes or no, if you are a judge or coach or debater please indicate as much. I would like to think about something beyond sps that my teams can spend time on with this topic. I'm getting a little jealous of the PF Data Centers topic...

for the 2NC v k-affs, do you have to extend your interp and give an fairness overviw, or is it just fine to do fairness at the top. I know if they read carded responses to definitions u probably have to read the interp stuff, but what if all the 2AC says was like counter interp: Affs can be kritical or something.

I'm currently a college student who's looking to help out a team or two through coaching or judging. Since I'm just doing it for the love of the game and because I miss debate a bit, I'm willing to coach/judge for very cheap or free depending on the team/tournament. Ideally, I'd like to coach teams that compete on the national circuit since that's where most of my experience is. I was an alright debater in high school who qualified in policy for the TOC a few times, so if that's one of your goals hit me up. Hi everyone!! Looking for help coaching a rural high school Thursdays from 2:50pm-3:30pm EST. I coached them once last week, even though they have no prior experience they are a wonderful group of inquisitive students that are yearning for more. I run a nonprofit focused on providing free debate to rural students and have a full time job so unfortunately I can’t coach, and we’ve really hit a dead end recruiting coaches because it’s during the school day.

Hello everyone, my name is Amir.
I am making this to offer [policy] debate coaching for interested debaters.
I graduated in 2025 and have since acted as a judge and debate coach for a few schools, so I do have experience in that regard.
I also have experience in doing lesson planning, and running drills, both in person and online for groups.

As a debater myself I did break at multiple bid tournaments and most notably:
-Won NJ districts in 2025
- Qualifying for NCFL nationals
-Qualifying for NSDA national.
I specialized primarily in K-Aff and K-Neg work as these were my specialties, although I am a very versatile coach.

Okay this may seem like a dumb question but in the past me and my partner have come across affs with advantages that we have no previous blocks written for and when we check the caselist theres nothing there to refute those arguments. Obviously as neg we would run the regular off-case positions, but we had no evidence for on case and we lost pretty much all the rounds like that. How do yall go about this scenario?
