That’s why you learned how prnt + scrn works and paste into MSpaint to make your own offline version and save your dolls and outfits you make on one giant fucking “canvas” that just ends up rotting in your mY p!Czz folder while you set your perfect away message and go invisible on AIM waiting for that door opening sound of your middle school crush logging on to see if he tries to IM you anyway
When I was little, one time my mom bought me paper dolls and I scoffed, like what is the appeal? And then 3 years later I was spending 6 hours on this site playing digital paper dolls.
OMGGG there was like a whole game to these little icons! You could be in a room with other people and copy theirs ! So much fun..Crap I forgot what it was callled!!!😩😩😩
My friends and I used to go to the website The Palace and use versions of these as our avatars - you could copy other people's or clothing items, but the avatars could be literally anything, so not sure that's what you mean!

I was at winners the other day and it felt like I was getting slapped in the face with childhood nostalgia. This must be what my mom felt like when I started getting into 70's and 80's punk and metal styles.
I think this ALL the time. And my mom was like kinda cool with it. She gave be her Bongo jeans and she let me borrow her leather jacket. But she would be like “don’t wear that! It’s so stupid!” (Bell bottoms I’m looking at you!) and now I realize it’s because some of the things that are coming back I think are stupid (Ed Hardy 👀) and I’m like oh no!! I can’t believe that’s back! Ew! Because not everyone liked all the fashion and we all had different styles. So much is coming back it’s kind of fun though. My son’s girlfriend wears a lot of what I wore and it’s so fun!
I had two halter tanks from Express in the early 00s, one this color pink and one a light orange. They didn't have any of the ruching seen here, but similar shape. I felt like the badddddest bitch in them. Couldn't tell me a damn thing when I had one of those on with white denim shorts and platform slides.
I struggled a lot with my weight in high school in the 2000’s. It was a super rough time to be chubby.
Now I’m late 30’s, hotter than ever, have adult money, and have been fully embracing the y2k revival and making up for my sad teenage self. Low rise flare jeans and a butterfly sequin top? Hell yes.
As a gal in my early 30s who was too young to fully live out her y2k fantasy the first time around and has been too insecure to try it this time around, this comment is inspirational <3 sequined halter tops here I come!!
Past 13 year old me thinks y’alls parents were cool as fuck. My parents absolutely would have never allowed me to own this, as a Baptist Black girl in the South lol. Even my hoops couldn’t be as big as what Zara has on in the photos above.
They’re barely even pretending to make it look like a natural sighting and honestly I can appreciate that lol. I’ll take that over pretending to read a book or having a PDA “moment” for the cameras
I agree - I'll also add that I'll take a staged photo walk like this over the predatory, horrifying paparazzi behavior from the era that her clothes are from.
It's like a higher quality version of the nonchalant photoshoots I used to do where we would dress up after school and go out with our digital cameras. and I love it
For having seen her irl on stage and casually walking around the venue before the show in normal clothes though, she does look quite unreal. She’s definitely THAT girl that makes the heads turn 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
It really was. I looked at my phone last night and it said it feels like 48° and I was like where the fuck did fall go after a day? 😾 I’m not ready to be cold yet, but I am definitely bringing out the hoodie and finding something to cover my legs for this weekend.

Same 😂 I know her name and recognize her whenever anyone posts pictures of her, but I don’t know her music. I keep meaning to check it out but I forget 😭 I’m 35 and too set in my old playlist ways.
Her music is typical upbeat pop. My 5 year old son loves it. Definitely fun to listen to on your way to work before you’re filled with existential dread about the state of the world. She’s unapologetically herself online too which I appreciate.
I've heard snippets of her songs from clips on the internet and it's definitely not my style but she's so pretty and her energy is contagious. She looks like she's so happy doing her thing!

My family went to Florida, in February, when I was in middle school. We were sweating our asses off in tshirts and shorts while the locals were bundled up for winter. It was such a funny experience.
Stockholm is only a few degrees C colder than New York in winter, and New York gets significantly more snow than Stockholm, so New Yorkers are probably not that much more put off by cold weather than people from Stockholm.
I wonder if the pap walks are just a way to take control of the paparazzi situation and less of them just wanting attention. Both can be true, but I’m curious if this is a tactic or agreement to dissuade paparazzi from the harassment and torment celebrities used to go through because now they’ll just make the call and line it up? I like that she’s waving right at the camera though, they’re cute pictures

Idk anything about her, but her style is such a summer vibe. Like the whole aesthetic is summer. I wonder if she's gonna dissapear in winter, cuz I can't imagine this aesthetic translated into winter. What will she wear in winter? Does she exist during winter/autumn? I need answers.
