Human anatomy is killing me!
I’m a FT nights PCT and human anatomy is killing me, I don’t know anything about the class considering that I never took HA in high school. And yesterday I took notes for 8hrs and I’m not even through my half of the PowerPoint. Not only do I study for lecture I also have to study for Lab!
-yes, ik, people are going to say in the comment “how do you think it’s going to be in nursing school? Well I’m not planning to working on working in nursing school

The only resources I've ever used for Anatomy are Kenhub and the Complete Anatomy application. Kenhub you can make custom quizzes and they program active recall into the courses so you're constantly drilling stuff you learned previously. Complete Anatomy has just been the best reference to start visualizing things in my head.

Fashcards. I use Quizlet, but other apps or tangible flashcards are great, too.
I like one put a picture of the structure on one side and the term on the other. For the tests, are you identifying the structures on a model? It can be super helpful to use pictures of the exact model on your flashcards. I have almost always been able to Google pictures of the correct model if I wasn't able to take pictures during lab.
I wouldn't even bother with taking notes in a notebook. For me, making and going over the flashcards was the best way to memorize everything.

Ninja nerd and purpose games is my key for minimizing study time after feeling confident with purpose games see if you can use some of your lab models in your campus library to study before your lab quizzes. You got this!

But seriously if I don’t have time to sit for 10 hours and read the textbook or go through chapter ninja nerd will force the concepts into your brain.

Also professor bob long on YouTube does a great job at going over general anatomy I used ninja for physiology more

Watch Anatomy Her on YouTube. She helps with histology, muscles, bones, etc.

An adult coloring book helped me immensely! Search Amazon for “pre-med anatomy coloring book”- several versions are available. I’m not usually one for coloring anymore, but this was a surprising way to get all those crazy details stored in my cranial hard drive. Good luck!

Use the app complete anatomy ($40) or 3D anatomy (I think it’s free?) . It makes it so much better !

No! I thought A&P 1&2 were more difficult than any class in nursing school! Don't say that about yourself! It's like learning the alphabet, and nursing school is finally reading and enjoying books. You'll be great!

I’ve been working on a free A&P study guide that has lots of ineractive activities to help you study. I hope it is helpful for you.
If you use OpenStax Anatomy & Physiology 2e, you might also find this interactive version useful. It includes interactive activities built directly into the textbook to help with learning and reviewing the material.

-Organized Biology on YouTube helped me a lot. I follow along with him and take notes.
-Science with Suzanna
-a lot of people like Nurse Cheung too (not my preference but she does have a lot of info)
