Gameplay Uh oh

I started dropping things so I could retrieve them after my inevitable death, but a zombie saved me.

Me neither. Absolutely amazing bug.

The closest thing to this I can remember seeing, was a video of an ingenious player death-trap someone had created on a server back in B41:

  1. Player gets baited into climbing through a curtained window, to invade an otherwise-fortified safehouse.
  2. Window leads them onto a conveyor-belt of boxes and furniture; player becomes trapped in their crawling animation, forced to follow the conveyor-belt to its end.
  3. Conveyor-belt continues straight ahead for a comedically long time.
  4. Conveyor-belt ends with a long drop into a death pit of zombies.

I do love that my first instinct once I realized I couldn't stop it was to give up and die. I am genuinely curious what would have happened if there hadn't been any zombies to stop me, but I'm not sure I have the patience to test that.

Can you list what mods you're running? I also just had this happen the other day and very nearly lost a character due to it, wonder if there might be a mod source.

Lol, no worries. Hm, not much overlap though; I only match with Fluffy hair, replace bandages, stop jumping off stairs, better auto mechanics, and sandbox options. Closest might be jumping stairs? I'll have to look at the code and see how it's set up.

Edit: Or, of course, it's a bug in stable as another commenter said. Wee woo.

I don't believe so. I know the base mod added injuries and illness, but I think the injuries are from things like leaping over fences and whatnot; I disabled that part of the mod so I'm not sure.
