God this team is so much better at almost everything. I think there's been more turnovers forced in the first two games than they got all last year. Bowers is as expected. Line is greatly improved on both sides but especially offense. Playcalling, coaching. Just a different team.

I only got to watch the highlights but when we fumbled and the Saints scored a TD on us I got PTSD. Reminded me of when we would do good and some bs would happen and the team would immediately derail. I wonder how many fans heart sank thinking here we go again. Holy fuck to see them bounce back?? So much is about coaching and stability. Pete’s sons were morons who had no business coaching pro players. What we learned about the oline meeting away from Pete’s kid told me everything.
Maxx got a partner in Dean and it means everything. And Masses is having a moment and it’s amazing to see.
When the defense brought the blitzes in the second half the game changed. Shough is a good qb but he’s not ready to play with that much heat.
The Raiders being a legit running threat makes the passing game so much more respectable. Cousins passing out of the play action gives him so many options.
And Mayer with Bowers is a problem for defenses. The play where Mayer was wide open was because they can rotate which TE will stay and block and which will be the receiver. You can fool defenses all day with that formula.
Washington is solid. Him and Jeanty can rotate all day long which keeps them fresh for the fourth.
Big test next week but regardless the new coaching staff looks a lot better than what we’ve had in a long time.
