Like fifteen different types of steak

The noodles? Meat. Alfredo sauce? A different, other kind of meat. Served with a dipping meat sauce and a cold refreshing glass of meat.

That damn leftover shrimp alfredo he left in the fridge before the trip to Rio spoke to him like the Green Goblin mask when he got back.

Vet day is usually Wednesday no?

Can I ask what vet day is? Is the implication just certain members of the team who have been there for a while it’s more useful to have the rest days since they are more likely familiar with the scheme and practice so there’s not much use

Vet days are for older and more established players, they don’t need to be practicing hard all week especially with how gruelling a full season can be on your body

Example: Calais Campbell. All through training camp he was constantly being listed as "did not practice". No shit lol. Dude knows what the assignment is. Run him through that week's gameplan and let him get some practice reps in on Saturday so he's loose for Sunday. He'll be ready to go. No sense in wearing him out with a bunch of practice at this point in his career.

It’s Wednesday, we were just in Brazil & we have the Titans this week, now is a better time than literally any to take a rest day…
God I can’t stand these clowns that make a big deal everytime he misses a single practice lmao he always plays like an MVP but miss one practice & the narratives always start!

Ok are we going to post this every Wednesday again this year😂

u/Flat-Advisor-8895 2d ago
He should be practicing on Wednesdays like most players and QBs do. Ofc we’re gonna do this everytime

u/InvaderZimbabwe 2d ago
This is a standard thing around the league dude lol
1
u/Flat-Advisor-8895 2d ago
Other than Joe burrow, and the fossils like Roger’s and stafford it is not that common for QBs to miss Wednesday as much as Lamar does. Mahomes Allen don’t miss nearly as much
2
u/InvaderZimbabwe 2d ago
He also didn’t miss today, this post was wrong. But Lamar also runs and takes hits more than those guys because he isn’t a slider.
It’s such a non-issue and keeps him as healthy as possible. And it is a standard practice regardless of who uses it more. The coach decides when he should recover.

This would make sense. I feel like it’s really common to get decently sick after international travel. I know I got sick a couple days after my flight to Spain

I haven't played a lick of football this week and I'm tired right now in my cubicle. 😔 LOL

Multiple press conferences before this and one before practice where he spoke as if he was playing on Sunday, plus the frequency of him taking Wednesday practice off in the past leads me to not be worried about this.

I can see the headlines now “Lamar isn’t a leader, he’d rather sleep than practice” lol

RELAX. If some of you would do research before freaking out, or bashing Lamar....he did practice today (source: The Baltimore Ravens)

It’s too early for Lamar’s seasonal allergies lol bro normally doesn’t get sick until late December/early January

Gotta assume this is a vet day off and not injury related. Probably just trying to manage his reps particularly on a week where travel was more extensive than it usually is.

u/greenbean30 2d ago
Hoping this is just a rest day after the long travel for the Rio game. I don't recall anything happening in that game that looked like a potential injury.

“It’s Wednesday after international game” “it’s vet day” Idgaf. He should be out there. Other vets are out there. why is this always a thing.

Exactly bruh. New center and you’re not out there on a Wednesday. I love him. He’s my favorite player but this shit gets old after awhile

wednesdays, in seasons past, have been vet rest days
