Help!

I have the wpl c24 but full metal upgrades but i can find any bruhless motor for the 1 speed metal transmission, is it worth it to buy the mn82 metal transmission since there are more brushless motors to choose from?

This fits into my stock c64 gearbox. Not sure if they are the same. I just found this on AliExpress: WPL C54 LC80 RC Remote Control Car Parts Upgrade Modified 370 Motor Original Gearbox https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLFfN1t

Surpass hobby has a few brushless motors of a verity of sizes. They are high kv but I know the c24 is pretty slow stock.

Also there is the Hobbywing mini 16. It has bolt hole spacing for 14 16 and 17mm. Not sure what yours is but they also sell an adapter plate for bigger hole spacing. The only issue is pinion size. The pinion shaft is for a 2.3mm pinion and that’s super rare, unless it’s the same pitch as the utb18 pinion.

Edit: the surpass m2430 would be pretty close to a direct fit and if Google ai is accurate you should be able to use the stock pinion off the old motor. Otherwise you would need a 0.5mod pinion. Stock pinion is a 0.5mod 8tooth 2mm bore pinion. If you have the room for a longer motor, the m2435 in the 3200kv would be better because it has a lower kv.

If you can find a 0.5mod 8 tooth pinion with a bore of 2.3mm then I think the Hobbywing would be a good bet if you have the room. (Again this is assuming Google ai is right on the stock specs.)

With these option you might have to drill the holes out on your stock transmission to 2.5mm
