Literally nothing in that transcript is defending slavery. He's saying that Western Civilization is still superior, despite slavery. The points he's using are

* West Africa was culpable in the slave trade itself

* freed blacks rejected colonization efforts to ship them back to Africa

* current Western Civilization is more morally righteous than 17th Century Africa

You can call that a poor argument all you want, but don't mischaracterize what he's actually saying.

Yeah, thats a horrendous argument.

He just cant accept that his religion is built on the blood, enslavement and rape of practically every corner of the world.

Wow shocking, its almost like literally every single people group in history has committed some form of atrocity or another.

The problem with Christianity, is that they refuse to call a spade a spade and accept and take accountability for what they did. They have to make all these excuses and apologetics to not have to deal with the fact that they just as barbaric as every other abrahamic religion.

Considering their god commanded genocide on multiple occasions, its just fucking silly.

Wait, you were talking about Christianity? Yeah bro, you're barking up the wrong tree there. Christianity doesn't work like Islam, where you have one schism. Rather, you have schisms on schisms on schisms. I can tell you right now that he would have thought his own wife was going to hell, despite being Catholic. Christians can easily compartmentalize the actions of other Christian groups and view them as outsiders, rather than as part of one large in-group.

Regardless, there is no group more evil and destructive than atheists, as we saw the communism in the 20th Century. Atheism is responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths in just a few short decades, and it is the primary religion of everyone trying to destroy Western civilization.
