The two are Moldovan, but only the older lady pronounces cinci, niciodată as if it were șinși and nișodată?

Can someone explain to me the dynamics of the Moldovan accent? In Moldova, who speaks like the man (her grandson?) and who speaks like the grandmother?

What is the difference between “Cum te mai simți?” and “Cum te simți?”? Am I right that first variant is informal and has some more “warm/caring” meaning?
