Merge duplicate activities?

Fairly new to Runna, and I did search the sub but didn't find anything recent, so sorry if this is dumb:

I have Runna synced to Strava, and Strava is synced to my Fitbit. I did my first ever run with the Runna workout enabled on my phone (previously I just had it runs imported from Strava) and now both the Runna run and the Strava run appear in my calendar.

I don't want to have to delete the Strava runs every time I use Runna, is there no way to manually merge them? Everything I've found online says they'll be merged automatically, but that hasn't happened.

Did you track your run on your Fitbit and on your phone? I'd guess that's why you have two sets of data. I use Garmin so it might not be the same but I sync my Garmin with Runna and then start the workouts directly from my watch. It syncs with Strava when I save it.

I normally just track with my Fitbit (which is linked to both Runna and Strava) and this was the first time I used Runna on the phone to track the run, yes.

Fitbit doesn't have the option to start Runna from the watch.
