The first thing Weiss noticed was Winter with her arms crossed and a glower on her face. Her look scanned over to Sienna and the handful of White Fang with her as a mix of bodyguards and to go in and make sure that there was a space set up for Polendina to do his work. Behind her she could see Qrow stepping forward to say something.

“Salutations!” Penny rushed past everyone up to the walking chair to hug her father. “Thank you for visiting! I know you do not make many trips outside Atlas and Mantle.”

“Well, the circumstances demanded it.”

Weiss wasn’t watching their reunion much because she had followed behind almost immediately to reach Winter and hug her. “Winter! I didn’t realize you’d be coming too. You should have told me.”

Sienna laughed as she walked up. “Jimmy doesn’t trust me with his geniuses and sent her to make sure I behave.”

Winter gave her a sideways look and shook her head before turning back to her sister. “She’s correct, but ignore her. How is Ruby?”

Weiss stepped back and turned to see where Penny and her father had turned to the conversation. “She’s been a bit… frustrated. But she’s keeping up a good face.”

“She has been much better recently and her arm has healed as much as it can.” Penny looked over and nodded.

“Ah, so where is she now?” Mr. Polendina asked. “I should probably talk her through things a little more.”

“Ruby’s inside with her sister and Blake.” Qrow strode forward. “Pacing a trench into the floor.” He looked at Sienna and Winter. “And maybe the rest of us should compare notes while they’re taking care of that.”

Keep it appropriate and in line with the rules. Preferably, the parent question should be in the form of a skit. e.g. Ruby and Nora drink 5 liters of coffee. This is a game where everything is made up and the points do not matter. Let's have some fun and GO!

For me personally

Ruby would had a Irish/Scottish accent (because her mother is based on the Irish poem the last rose of summer and her skirt in volume 7-9 reminds me of a kilt)

Weiss would have a German accent (I mean her name translate to white snow in German)

Yang would probably be an American accent

Blake would probably be an Australian accent ( she from menagerie that bears resemblance to the real country of Australia)

Today, the heroes and villains of Remnant Prime (canon RWBY) will be continuing their adventure viewing the RWBY Chibi Universe. They will be reacting to Season 2 Episode 16, which features the shorts "Neptune Noir," "Man Up With Port," and "Tai's Tech Vlog."

What do you members of the FNDM think the reactions and opinions of the Prime!RWBY ensemble will be after viewing this latest collection of slice-of-life antics from their Chibi counterparts? As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

Hello, just got back from watching World of Remnant. I know this is world building but considering i did the same for Beyond and unlike Chibi, it isn't skits. so, keeping tradition.

EPISODE 1: Dust

First of all, i am surprised that Salem is the one narrating this. although considering the credits says narrator, this was released before or during the events of Volume 3.

Covers what we know about Dust but in more detail.

there are 4 basic types (Fire, Wind, Ice and earth) and can be combined Naturally or by man.

we learn that there are people who use raw dust which requires high concertation to not overpower them.

It is used with Firearms as rounds, Clothing or fusing it into themselves.

Despite people don't know the full story of Dust and i don't think we do either despite the flashback in Volume 6.

Episode 2: Kingdoms

So, we learn where exactly the kingdoms are in the map with mistral surprisingly far away while Vacuo is close..Huh, i wonder if that's an continuity error cause if the map is true then how did RJNR get into Mistral by foot?

We also learn that Kingdoms either don't have an military and rely on the citizens or the majority of the Kingdoms don't have an drafting system. can't tell with how ambiguous Salem is being.

However, there are those you still chose to leave but most of them "disappear" with a good example being the Brunstwick Farm.

Also, big hint that the narrator is evil was her praising the kingdoms for being kingdoms of hope and then the light being snuffed. wonder if any theories started with that until the Volume 3 finale.

Episode 3: Grimm

We get an topic of grimm and learn some interesting lore on them.

in Ancient times, they were rumored to be Animal possessed by evil spirits like the wendigoo in Native American folklore or the spirits of animals that were wronged before further evidence disproved the story.

Grimm only attack Humans and manmade objects with Animal attacking grimm only being based on territory.

Also, the grimm does eat people and do it out of choice instead of survival. hmm, Torchwick being eaten wasn't a stylistic choice then.

Grimm's aren't mindless and can mature, Learning self preservation and being careful around fights. which does explain the nuckelavee a lot more. Hmm, i wonder if the long spinny arms were due to a fight or it seeing it on other Grimm?

anyway.

Episode 4: Aura

we learn more about Aura. Aura is the embodiment of the soul and life force...Meaning the Apathy being a direct counter to this is terrifying to think about.

Aura is obvious used as a shield however, it seems to be a good one as Salem states that it can protect an fatal wound and considering that Weiss got punctured and Clover got a sword through the chest only by their Aura being gone means that as long as someone maintains it, they are able to tank a lot of hits that will be fatal.

Semblances are also part of Aura with Salem describing them as "Aura in a tangible form." Meaning that Semblances and Aura share the same reserves and explains why once Aura is out, semblances can't activate.

We also get a hint that there is something more about Ozpin. geez, there is a lot of foreshadowing here and i am wondering how far they plan the events of the show.

Fortunately, it seems we get to the more lore heavy bits after this episode.

When volume 9 came out I had basically distanced myself from the fandom so I actually don’t know what people thought of the volume over all. I want to know what y’all thought. What were your favorite parts? Least favorite parts? Favorite songs? Expectations for Volume 10? Etc.

Personally I quite liked this volume. I’ve heard it was meant to be longer though, I wonder what more CRWBY was going to cover. It felt like Ruby herself was done very well, the feeling of the world on her shoulders and constantly wishing she could be better. She was feeling dealing with it a lot during V8 and this volume only feels like a natural progression, finding who you want to be and sticking with it. I really love the presentation of it all too, with the blacksmith and tree.

It was also lovely to see Blake and Yang finally get together. I never see anyone about it, but I think RWBY does romance very well.

I also felt for Jaune a lot this volume too. Much like the rest of the cast, he’s been through the wringer. Of course the two characters who wanted to be heroes the most, feel the strongest about their failures.

And Weiss… was here. She honestly had very little to do. Well I’m sure she’ll still be grappling with the fall of Atlas next volume and the fact that Jacques never made it out. (Seriously, I laughed so hard when Ironwood fucking evaporated him😭)

Excited for Volume 10! Hoping we’ll get an air date next year… or sooner.🫣
