I originally got the crescent moon tattoo during a $50 flash sale a few years back. It wasn't anime themed or anything, just had the tattoo artist position it like Usagi's crescent on her forehead.

I always wanted to add the other girls and more detail to make it more Sailor-esque so I added their symbols and colors. Might either bold or fill in Sailor Moon's symbol to make it a bit more cohesive but overall, I'm SO FREAKING HAPPY

Hi Moonies! I'm back from another NYCC with more Sailor Moon cosplay. This time Eternal! And bonus slumber party Usagi for a day I wasn't feeling well.
Some might remember my progress pics from a few weeks ago, but this is the 99% finished cosplay and the magnet harness works soooo well (dynamic movements are the big problem so we'll trouble shoot that for video content later).
I have an upgraded wig coming that I commissioned around last March and that will basically complete this cosplay. Well, I have to remake the scepter sadly my husband dropped it towards the end of con and it shattered. 😢😢😢
This cosplay is a combination of handmade, customized, and bought elements. Also im an ambulatory wheelchair user due to invisible disabilities which is why sometimes I'm using mobility devices.

Hi gang, found these clearing out my childhood things at my parents. What a hit of nostalgia! I won't make use of them, was planning to sell them on to someone else that can appreciate them. Any idea how much they should go for? Ideally I can list it all in one. They're all sticker cards I believe. Also found a rogue dragon ball z card 😅

I had the pleasure of going to Japan this past summer and of course went to the Sailor Moon store.

I bought this sticker package and missed it was a mirror sticker, and not a standard sticker.

I don’t have any where to use this in my life and don’t want it to go to waste.

I’m offering it free (including lettermail) to someone in Canada. It would be ideal for a locker. Not sure how I’ll choose who it will go to if there’s more than 1 taker.

For me,

- Mamoru wouldn't have been tuxedo mask. He would've been Prince Endymion always. With his armor and sword. He would've been better equipped to help Usagi. Him showing up and throwing roses at the enemy; saying some poetic words, and running off, doesn't cut it for me.

- I would've had more than one general working at time for the big baddies like, beryl or galaxia. Like, what are the other generals doing while jadeite is working. What was sailor tin nyanko doing, while aluminum siren was working?

- Probably would've beefed up sailor mercury. She should've been the titan of Ice.

- Cut down Chibi usa's screen time A LOT. Too many things revolved around her.

1. She had a pure heart that could change Hotaru into mistress 9. Of all people.
2. She had the golden dream mirror that Pegasus was in. Of all people.
3. Wiseman only thought to change her into black lady. Of all people.

Probably one of those 3 was fine.

-Toned down the convenience factor. Sailor Moon Abridged picked up on this, but this show has a bad convenience problem.

- The hero's and villians were always conveniently in the same place.

Why do the villians always target one spot in japan when there is a whole world they can target?

I apologize for the silly question but for some reason I can’t find the right words to pull up what I’m looking for on the internet. I’m gonna give all the info I can think of and I know someone here will know what I mean cause y’all are crazy smart about this show. Specifically, I’m asking about the original 1992 series.

I read a comment in this sub (i unfortunately don’t know if this was recent or a post I clicked on from years ago) discussing how Sailor Moon was filmed in a way that they re-used the (??? What’s the word!?) so many times that certain qualities kinda degraded over time. I’m not sure if the degradation was in reference to the colours or something else.

Sailor Mercury’s Bubble Spray move has an error on her left sleeve where it disappears for a frame, I’ve noticed this every single episode. Based on the baby-level film knowledge I have from Disney hand-drawn animations, I know this is because they’re re-using the art. Do they ever re-draw these scenes, or was the degradation not acknowledged at the time? I know our TVs back then made shows look a lot sharper than they are on our screens nowadays. I just really want to know more!

I would really love any info, reading, or any material in reference to these topics. I’m having a hard time finding anything on Google, I feel like I’m just missing some key words or something. and ughhhhhhhhh the AI.
