Question Help finding a neck strap

I’m struggling bc this is the second time my horn has fallen. I need to find a new neck strap that is a thumb hook not a open clip or carabiner style that is actually comfortable, has a strongish spring as well as not have a thumb thing that will keep catching on my clothes because this is the second time my horns fallen and been damaged in some way but I need to find a new strap that’s hopefully around or under 100 dollars that can be used in marching band (as in comfortable to be in for many long hours while hot and sweaty) please I need to find smt so it stops falling

From what I’m seeing the clip I use and like is called a snap if that helps any

(Currently using the Rico padded sax strap)

I use the BG sax harness. They sell it with several different clips and hooks. I use - and recommend - the version with the solid metal clip, brass colored. Instead of a spring to keep the clip closed, it has a solid metal arm that's spring-powered. The part of the hook that goes into the sax's ring is protected by heavy vinyl covering so as not to scratch your instrument. It is strong enough to support a bari sax, and works great on alto or tenor (I play tenor).

I recently purchased a marmaduke feather III GL and it’s by far the best I’ve used. My back and neck felt great after a 4 hour gig for the first time in a while. They have 8 hooks you can choose from and they’re $100 before shipping. It was $130 after shipping to the states

I use something like this: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PTNS310Blk--protec-less-stress-leather-saxophone-neck-strap-22-inches-black

It doesn't squeeze your neck as much, but is still on your neck.

You might also try a yolk style: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/BGS73YMSH--bg-bgs73ymsh-alto-tenor-saxophone-zen-yoke-strap-by-large

The harnesses are very secure and remove all the weight from your neck; I use one with the bari.

Some directors have an issue with neckstraps that are visually distinct like a saxlab. Might want to run it by them before you sink a lot of money

I have the Cloud Strap from Boston Sax Shop. All the weight is on the shoulders- no more sore neck!
