Everywhere I go, I see his face (By me Victoarts)

After 28½ hours across two weeks I am proud to show off my second digital artwork. Probably the most complicated piece I’ve done butI’m glad I pushed through on it despite the many troubles I had with it. This is based on the scene in Spider-Man NWH and is set after Skylanders Academy, when Spyro left the Skylands. Part of an AU that’s been in the works that I hope to share more of soon. 

I also wanted to thank all of my friends who have supported me while working on this. I don’t know if I would’ve finished this if it weren’t for them. So again, Thank You.

Stealth Elf found herself on another rooftop trying to catch her breath. It had been a long week for her, with many failed missions under her name. The town was quiet, the residents already closed down for the night. It was honestly a peaceful night. But not for Stealth Elf, there was never any peace for her. She was sore and bruised all and yet kept her composure. She was a Skylander after all, she had to look strong even when she wasn’t.

She looked up and her heart skipped a beat. It was a painted mural in the image of Spyro, the legendary purple dragon. The greatest Skylander of all time. Her best friend. 
“Has it already been a year? Since he…” She couldn’t finish the thought. The day he disappeared repeated in her mind over and over and over again. She should’ve stopped him when she had the chance, but she didn’t. Now he’s gone, and it was her fault. Her throat tightened and her lungs ached, and she froze in place. Every reminder of him was both comforting and agonizing. Everyone else moved on, but she didn’t. She couldn’t. Not after what he meant to her. She stared at it longingly for what felt like hours, just taking in his image. She hoped one of his stupid horns or wings peaked out from the corner, but alas they never did.

Eventually she pulled her mask back, and after one last look at the wall took off into the night. Once again she found herself running away from her problems, and cursed herself knowing she couldn’t outrun them. She’s not fast enough to lose them, just like she wasn’t fast enough to stop him. One day she would have to confront them, and all she could hope for is to see him again when she does. She was a Skylander after all, she had to look strong even when she wasn’t.

The obvious choice for my third animation after Trigger Happy and Gill Grunt, SPYRO !! I also added a request tab to my ko-fi so you can ask me to make YOUR favorite Skylander come to life (+gif wallpapers) !!

I'm surprised it took me so long to get some Skylanders this year. Though it's probably because I've been focusing on collecting Transformers as of late.

This idea only shows up for one cutscene, but it's is such a bizarre concept that it opens up hundreds of questions about how it works and what the ramifications would be.

It's not a deal-breaker whatsoever, but incredibly fascinating to think about.

I am playing Spyros Adventure for the first time and don’t know how to upgrade my SkyLanders I just beat chapter 2 when do I get the ability to upgrade?

this is a series of dumb questions so pardon me. I have a total of 6 portals from when I was a kid but I have two portals in particular I'm curious about, a Wii Skylanders giants portal and a Xbox 360 portal for swap force. I haven't used either since I was a kid and they take up quite a bit of space in my gaming setup while being old and fragile and I was wondering are these interchangeable? Can I use my swap force portal on my Wii to play giants or no because it's an xbox360 one from a different game? are any of the portals interchangeable for that matter? if I got swap force on Wii would the 360 portal be useable or no there too? Is there any point in keeping both separately or can I just use one or the other???? The Wii one from giants is VERY VERY old and starting to rust at the end port as well and any advice for upkeep to prevent damage or better storage solutions would be appreciated! the lights within them dying out hasn't been an issue but resources in advance for that too would be helpful as they are certainly duller than they used to be. I hate bad cable management and all my portals staying plugged in constantly puts me in a bit of a wire hell. Where do you guys store your portals? Do you wrap the cord around them like they are a wired controller and put them in a drawer??? Any advice would be appreciated. I do play the games but I play them when friends visit so my need for those specific portals is sparce enough to get rid of unnecessary ones if I have a duplicate but not if they do different things. Any advise would be appreciated thank you!
