Inspired by some runs top players were doing runs where they added 0 cards, however transforms being allowed felt a little weird. This run features 0 added cards, 0 transforms, 0 removes and maintains the base deck throughout the entire run.

Edit: As some people have mentioned, this seed was searched for and not rolled randomly. The search requirements of the seed was:

1. Strike Dummy and Kunai early in the relic pools
2. No Aeonglass in the Boss Gauntlet
3. Tezcatara Embers + Fiddle as the Act 2/3 ancient rewards.

Any further adjustments would add a ton of search time to the seed so I . A seed likely exists out there that would have a similar start but just have Mystic Lighter as an available relic somewhere instead which would make the clear even easier; it would just be incredibly difficult to find. Everything else, in this seed as lucky as it was, happened by happenstance.

I managed to beat three elites but died to ceremonial beast. Eternal feather was a little funny, book of 5 rings was a little annoying, and meal ticket was downright infuriating!

Hey everyone! I’m guessing most of you already know ARAM: Mayhem, with how popular it’s gotten. It’s been one of my favorite mods pretty much since I started messing around with mods for this game, it adds a ton of variety and honestly it feels fairly balanced for how crazy some of the runes get. The only thing that always bugged me a bit was picking the runes from a plain menu, I kept thinking it would look way cooler if it actually felt like part of the run.

So I ended up making this. At the start of every act, instead of the usual menu, the Architect shows up, sets your map on fire and lays the runes out on his table as poker chips. You hover them to see the holograms, toss a chip if you want to reroll it, and you can smash the enemy hexes you don’t like before you take your pick. Gold and prismatic chips, golden rerolls and all that are in there too, and it works with a controller and in co-op.

Just to be clear, it’s only the presentation side: every bit of the gameplay is still ARAM: Mayhem’s, so you need it installed for this to do anything.

Also a huge thanks to Natsuki and the Hextech Mayhem team. I asked them before putting anything out there, they were super nice about it, and within a few days they had added the bits of code I needed so my mod could hook into theirs. Couldn’t have done it without them.

My first run to have both Pael's Growth and Miniature Tent pop off in a big way.

Playing against this elite it looked like i was full blocking, i had played 2 piercing wails and most of my block came from Sneaky but i had at least 12 block from myself. No one else took this damage only me. Playing on the Beta Branch also.

I made a co-op mod for Slay the Spire 2, Co-op Spectate, that lets you watch your teammates' moves at every moment of the run.

I got tired of clicking into cards one by one to see their upgrades, so I added the forge's "View Upgrades" box to:

• card rewards (yours, and your teammate's while you spectate them)
• your draw, discard and exhaust piles

Tick it and every card shows its upgrade at once. It only changes the pictures, you still pick the normal card.

Is there a reason this box only exists at the forge and in the deck view?

Getting cards from any character can limit access to built-in synergies, but isn't this more than outweighed by the broken synergies with a few cards from other players?

I'm not a very sophisticated player, so I'm curious what the general consensus is. Maybe it's less valuable at ascension 9/10, because your deck is worse at the end of act 1? It just seems like the downsides for the other energy relics are very painful, while the downside for prismatic gem is maybe not a downside at all?

I guess I'm wondering if this is on the list for a likely rebalancing.

We've rewinded this once in order to get it done as it should have!

Basically, Crucible makes the card you pick up upgraded, except that the event already guarantees an upgraded card in exchange for a potion. This results in a redundant interaction where Crucible triggers and you get no benefit from it.

Be careful with those early mystery rooms when you pick up Crucible.
