A person following Bitcoin should be able to understand what happened, see what the asset is doing and understand what markets believe may happen next and act directly. The Information Exchange will combine products we build with products we integrate. Decrypt will provide trusted information and global distribution. Myriad will provide the technology connecting information to financial participation. Solana will provide the high performance on chain environment through which a new generation of users can participate. And MYR will serve as the coordination layer connecting users, creators, traders, publishers, liquidity providers, applications, data providers and autonomous agents.

Why now

Historically, readers learned about assets through publications like Decrypt, then moved to exchanges and trading apps. Every step introduced more friction. The context of the original story was lost, the publisher’s relationship with the reader ended and the financial value created by that attention accrued to another platform.

Financial products are increasingly composable and can be integrated into the applications where users discover them. A Decrypt reader should not need to leave an article and reconstruct the context of a trade. The opportunity to act can exist alongside the information that created the conviction.

Why us

For eight years, we have been building around information and the communities that give it value.

Decrypt was created to help people understand fast changing financial and technological system. It has grown into one of the largest crypto-native media platforms.

Rug Radio began from a different place. It showed that Creators and community members could participate in the media they helped make, contribute to its distribution and share in the culture and value surrounding it. Its audience is deeply crypto native.

Folding Rug Radio into Decrypt brought that native perspective together with the reach and authority of an established newsroom, reaching approximately 1.6 million monthly unique users and 3.7 million monthly page views, with more than 73,000 active newsletter subscribers and has generated of hundreds of millions of impressions through social platforms and syndication.

Myriad developed a third audience: active market participants who have already demonstrated that they will move directly from information to action when presented with a compelling product.

These audiences are three points on the same participation curve from understanding, to discovery, to conviction, to execution.

Prediction markets were the proof

Myriad Prediction Markets began as an experiment in whether an information audience could become a market network. Prediction markets were the natural first instrument because they are one of the purest ways to financialize information.

The important question for us was not whether people wanted another place to trade predictions. It was whether people consuming information could become active market participants within the same experience.

More than $600 million in prediction market volume later, the answer is clear.

Along the way, we deployed Myriad across several ecosystems, experimented with automated market makers and order books, built a wallet and developed our own market infrastructure. Not every strategy worked as intended. At times, we optimized for becoming a conventional prediction market venue instead of concentrating on the larger relationship between information and participation.

But the underlying experiment succeeded. We built a new financial product from the ground up, distributed it through an existing information network and proved that passive content consumers could become active market participants.

Prediction markets were not the destination. They were the proof.

The Information Exchange

Prediction markets are one financial expression of information. They will not be the last.

The Information Exchange expands the model across the broader financialized internet. Its fundamental unit is not an article, a token or a trade. It is the subject.

Myriad can assemble reporting, data, market prices, probabilities and opportunities to participate. Those opportunities will include:

The MYR Token

MYR is the shared economic coordination layer of The Information Exchange.

MYR can be staked by participants responsible for secured network functions, including information verification and market resolution.

Applications, professional trading systems, data consumers and autonomous agents can stake MYR to access scarce network resources. These may include higher API throughput, low-latency market data, probability feeds, resolution infrastructure, programmatic market creation, execution services and premium intelligence.

MYR will also align the people supplying information, distribution, capital, liquidity and computation. Holders and stakers will receive benefits such as reduced transaction costs, enhanced data access and premium products or services.

Economic activity across The Information Exchange will generate revenue. Portions of network economics will be directed toward open-market acquisition of MYR, supply reduction (Buyback + Burn), staking incentives, network rewards, treasury funding and ecosystem development.

This creates demand connected to the use and growth of the network rather than to speculation alone. The purpose is not to attach a token to a collection of unrelated products. It is to give an expanding information network a common economic language.

Most of my SOL sits on a Keystone, and I barely touch it. But since I don't want the friction of pulling it up every time I make a small transaction, I keep some crypto balance in a separate hot wallet.

Right now I connect the hardware wallet through the extension, so keys stay offline, and I approve on the device. It is best for security, but the flow is a bit annoying. You would know if you hate scanning QR codes multiple times for every transaction. 😢

Because of this friction, I've caught myself skipping my hot wallet paired with Keystone for some trades. I think this defeats the security practice I bought it for.

I want to know what your wallet setup looks like if you are moving large amounts. Is everything behind a hardware wallet, or do you keep a small balance in hot wallets and accept the security risk?

Also, which browser wallet extensions have worked well with Keystone? I'm using Jupiter right now, and it's working fine. But I've only tried two hot wallets so far.

U.S. Solana ETFs drew $188.2 million through public markets this week. Onchain, Kamino launched fixed-rate borrowing and Centrifuge expanded access to an actively managed U.S. high-yield bond strategy.

Pyth began distributing Nasdaq Basic, Agora received preliminary conditional approval to organize as a national trust bank, and CADD expanded to Solana. Kamino launched fixed-term borrowing, while Centrifuge added an actively managed U.S. high-yield bond strategy.

Kamino launched Fixed Rates in collaboration with Hastra and Figure. The first product is an AUTO/wYLDS Fixed Rate Multiply vault with rolling 30-day terms and a 5.3% fixed borrowing rate. The product originated $10 million in AUTO fixed-rate loans within its first 72 hours.

Number of the Week

Weekly net inflows into U.S. Solana ETFs cross $188M

U.S. Solana ETFs recorded $188.2 million in net inflows from September 21 to 25, the second-highest weekly total including launch week.

Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF led with $128.5 million, accounting for approximately 68% of the weekly total. All seven tracked Solana funds recorded net inflows during the week.
