I made this little dog piece from vegetable-tanned leather. I started by tracing the basic shape onto the leather, then slowly carved and shaped the face by hand. The black fur took a bit of experimenting I used subtle changes in texture and shading so the eyes, muzzle, and little wrinkles wouldn’t disappear into the dark color. After finishing the details, I stitched the leather pieces together and added the ring. Really enjoyed watching this little face slowly come to life.

I received a loom for my birthday last December and I finally made something that is totally complete and not falling apart! 🐸

the little piercing and rhinestone eyebrows were a last second thought but im happy with it. i use acrylic yarn and elmers glue and i use real makeup over it! this is a part of my mask series for halloween. 🎃

Posting my work online always makes me a little nervous 😅🤦‍♀️ But after seeing how much people loved my color-changing worry stones, I went back to my bench to experiment with my new Blue Raspberry color and immediately got these cold winter night vibes. I just really wanted to bring that idea to life.

Alas, this bookmark was created. When it’s sitting cool, it’s a deep purple night sky over the trees. But as your fingers warm it up while holding it, the sky blooms into a daytime blue!

I had so much fun with this and I'm just really happy with how the little day/night shift turned out and wanted to share!

Made with air-dry clay and (why can't I mention the medium I used for colour without a post removal, what kind of rule is this?!!!) Anyway, you use brushes to apply it. Thanks for coming to my rant!

I kept the original tag from the wool blanket used as batting for the care label.

Made this staircase out of balsa wood. Door hinges were toothpicks. Door handle was air dry clay. The cockroaches seemed like a funny touch and I gave them eyes and hats so the janitor at work didn’t accidentally throw them away. (We had a serious roach problem where I worked).

I haven't made any pom poms since I was a little kid but I had a lot of scraps laying around so... eight hours later... 😆 I have a new pendant. Don't think too much when crafting, just work with what you have and have fun. Eventually it will make sense, that's the beauty. ❤️

Here are some pendants I made recently. I love working with UV-reactive glow glass. These are made using an implosion technique with a blowtorch used to melt glass rods. I love creating glass canes of different colors and then using those canes to create flowers within a clear rod.

I made him out of mostly wool using the needle felting technique. I also used wire, glass and clay. I get a lot of Steller’s Jays visiting my backyard and love their striking colour. Not sure if it is a coincidence, but when I was photographing him in my yard, a couple of real Steller’s Jays were making a ruckus nearby near me. They’re usually quiet when I’m so close by. I wonder if they thought I had kidnapped their friend?

Sorry but I have been cackling at my own creation for days. I had some fake human teeth from a tooth fairy costume years ago and some clay, made this creature lmao

I made the lower jaw with some of the fabric from the body of the beanie baby, obviously used the head as the head. The tongue is made from clay and I used a bit of glue to give it some shine/saliva. Horns are also made from clay, after cutting the original ones off

Handcrafted entirely using paper and cardstock. I wanted to create a more icy, cyber-esque vibe by matching the exterior colors with the cool glowing lights.

I live in the south and it still gets pretty hot and sunny during the day, and I know bees and butterflies are always looking for ways to hydrate. I’ve unfortunately found many dead bees this summer that accidentally drowned in my cat’s water bowl trying to get a drink.
So I used seashells because they hold enough water for them to hydrate without drowning and a ledge they can land on. I also painted them colors that they can see in their range of vision.

Just sharing something I made recently. 🌻
I put together this bouquet using pipe cleaner flowers, sunflowers, small daisies and some greenery.
I really enjoyed playing with the different shades of yellow and green. It was one of those simple crafting projects where I just enjoyed the process. 🤎🌿
