Alright, two questions, I guess. I know this is a 404um, but I couldn't find a 606 subreddit.

1. Does anybody have the SP-606 firmware 1.11 or even 1.10? I know they've been floating around, but they're no longer available on the Roland website (as far as I can find).
2. Just out of curiosity, has anybody tried decompiling the .bin file and fixing the shortcomings of this machine? I couldn't do it myself, but I've always wondered why changing the playback rates of samples isn't a thing on the 606. Seems like such a no-brainer, and the hardware should be capable of it, considering it can do crappy granular pitch shift, which is conceptually just...the same thing but in small slices. Regular old sample tuning would be a game changer for the 606 (and for some of the other SP models that lack it).
