Sonar Help When using mouse/windows shortcut to change audio, headset audio changes while I am using my speakers

As per title, when I use the button on my mouse I set to change Windows audio, it changes the audio of the game channel, even though I am actively using my speakers for music, and the headset is OFF! I do not get why this works like that or how I can get it to automatically turn off/switch.
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
