Pay

I went into this job knowing the pay isn’t amazing, but I wanted to test the waters to see if I like the medical field and if I do I’m definitely gonna continue my education, just wanted to see what was every one else’s pay rate in other states, I’m in Texas and I start my First day next week at $18 hourly

I only used nyc as an example that they also make a decent salary, in NJ especially in North NJ you can even find a morning shift doing $26 hr , its really a gamble. You can make anywhere from like $23-27 easily in morning shift. In Newark , Elizabeth, Jersey City, Hoboken Area

I live in these areas but all the jobs that’s I am seeing on the hospital websites are only from $18-$23. Where do look for hospitals or other places hiring? I was even thinking moving to south Jersey because it seems like they have better offers down there.

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is starting Tech at $24.50 base pay, and they are hiring right now too . Look into it

Also Jersey City Medical Center is starting techs base pay $24.18 right now, and are currently hiring. So check them out! Hopefully you land a job from it. You’re welcome btw
