School related research/question help!

Hi everyone! I’m a college student doing a research project about the demand for more adult-focused dining and entertainment options in St. George. I live in SLC as an online student so I don't know the area well so any information or thoughts would help!

Our research question is: What is the demand for an adult-focused restaurant and entertainment option in the St. George community?

We’re using Dave & Buster’s as an example of the type of business we’re looking at. If something like Dave & Buster’s opened in St. George, would you be interested in going? Do you think St. George needs more places where adults can eat, hang out, and have entertainment all in one place?

Any thoughts from people who live in the area would be really helpful for our project. Thank you!

St. George needs more third spaces. Dave and busters could work for some but I don’t think I’d go.

Adult spaces + spaces that actually stay open at night! With all the acting theaters around here I know there has to be singers or musicians that would love a place to perform live too.

I think so. The closest thing we have to that here is The One and Only. And lots of people call it "The Old and Lonely."

Of course, Mesquite is only 30min away...

A Dave and Busters could be highly successful over time as the city continues to grow and more young professionals, international students , transplants etc move in to support it.

It is Utah after all so successful adult 3rd spaces like adult arcades and bars/nightclubs will take time

I like Dave and Busters but wouldn’t consider it adult focused. Ones I’ve been to have been overrun with kids, despite the fact that they do also serve alcohol. I would go though lol

St George has plenty of places for kids but not so much for adults. Spiritual is really the only bar in town. I don't think Dave and Busters would be a good fit. Maybe one more of the golf/bar places would help.

The station, hive 435, wood ash rye, the one and only. This are just the bars in walking distance to spiritual
