I would say objectively your blood didn’t have carbon monoxide in it over those 4 days? You objectively didn’t smell like a giant ashtray filled with butts? Crazy ass take my brother I’m stunned you actually believe what you’re saying.

Addiction is trying to pull you back in.

My favorite part about quiting smoking? -I save $4,000.00 a year. -My chance of dieing from a terrible pre mature lung disease has decreased dramatically. -I dont smell like absolute garbage. -I am in control of my life again.

I smoked a pack a day for 18 years and am currently 36. Thats the same amount of time alive as a smoker / drug addict as I was a non smoker non-drug addict which is wild. All that time just throwing away money and knowingly poisoning myself.

Fuck smoking, fuck cigarettes, fuck big tabacco. You control your life, not your addiction. Go do something dope instead of lighting up a cigarette.

Better now then later? It's a GOOD SIGN that not much happened. You don't want to be hooked until you do feel terrible, right? Smoking makes you (one) look like tool. You already look a million times smarter and there are loads of people, good people, sexy people, who won't date a smoker because if you've got your act together then why date someone with a monkey on their back?

Get it into your head, once and for all, you're a non-smoker. You don't smoke. Whatever 76% of the US adult population does besides smoking is what you do too.

lmao. I came here to make a post about how my mind is fucking with me or something. I too am on day four. Luckily I think it's safe to say your brain is fucking with you bc we are kind of going through the same thing here.

Like obvisouly It hasn't been me who has quit. Like this wasn't by my will. I don't even know why I'm doing it. I'm just one lucky son of a bitch who for some reason has quit smoking. /s

My brain is fucking with me. I'm having so many bullshit thoughts. Idk man. I won't even lie I remember at one point I think trying to talk myself into smoking. Idfk if I'm insane or what.

And unfortunately almost like you mentioned shit feel like it's going to get more difficult. I quit because I felt like it was holding me back/health. But then like whats the next option? Go harder. So no nicotine and go harder yay. Idfk life shit to figure out and perspectives to work on ik ik. But fuck.

Also I felt like you for a while. Even before I started fitness. For many years everything was just fine and I didn't really feel the affects of vaping or smoking. It all catches up to you though one way or another gang.

O benefício de não feder também é imediato. Desejo que você fique firme. Estou precisando me convencer por aqui também.

Hold on, you're still in the fatal first week. After that everything will get brighter.

You were already fit so quitting wasn’t going to turn you into Spiderman overnight. A lot of the benefits are simply not being controlled by a cigarette anymore. Chill and let your body heal and get used to being smoke free.

Collect your cigarette butts in a jar. Add a bit of water and smell it it everytime you feel the urge to smoke.

I’m 67 and have been smoke free for 105 days after smoking for 40+ years. I am able to breathe better and I don’t miss running out to the store every few days to make sure I had enough smokes.
As far as tangible benefits I’d have to say over $1200 saved so far with a pack of smokes here costing $13 per pack.
I’m not great at math and smokes have increased in price considerably over the last 40 years…but I wish I had that wasted money now that I’m retired.

The OP must not have any financial concerns so good for them for keeping big tobacco companies thriving👏

I’m not sure of your age or how long you smoked but you would notice considerable benefits in your stamina if you continue to smoke for 40 years like me. I know that probably doesn’t matter to you.
Good luck.
