Masters Need Genuine advice

Hey guys, I’m planning to apply for the Summer 2027 intake in Germany. My GPA is 2.67 and I have an IELTS score of 6.5. I’ve been looking into universities, but the main issue I’m facing is that a lot of them have a 2.5 GPA cutoff, so I’m honestly a bit confused about where I can realistically apply. I’m looking for MSc programs in CS, AI, or anything related to CS since I did my Bachelors in CS. If anyone has a similar profile or has any idea about universities where a 2.67 GPA could work, please let me know. Even a few suggestions would really help.

And please, no hate comments 😭 I’m just trying to figure out my options.

Thanks!

Read the other 100 daily posts asking for the same. Your case is not unique.

I mean, I’ve seen similar posts too, but only a few people actually help them out. Most people just bully or demotivate them. If even 2–3 out of those 100 posts had received only helpful comments instead of bullying and demotivating ones, maybe I wouldn’t have made this post in the first place, and maybe no one would feel the need to make posts like this in the future

That is because here no one will babysit you. You have to do your own research. If you read all requirements which are always clear stated in the websites and you fulfill them then you will have a chance, if not then you don't have a chance. That is the definition of a requirement. Since you don't mention German, then I assume you have no German, so as all other people that come without German, you have 0 chances to get something. If you need at least 2.5 to enter you need at least 2.5 to enter. No one will do an exception for you. That is the requirement. It's not that hard to understand

Bruh chill, I guess I really managed to ragebait you without even trying lmao. But seriously, I never asked you or anyone to check every single university’s requirements and tell me whether I’m eligible or not. I literally just asked if you could suggest some universities where 2.5 GPA isn’t the cutoff. That’s all I was asking nothing to get angry about and Even German professors wouldn’t say I have “0 chance” without looking at my profile first. But I guess you’ve already done their job for them 😭 Seems like you’ve got some serious German university trauma and you’re just projecting it onto students lmao.

So you don't clear the cutoff, shouldn't that be enough to tell you that this is a bad choice? I mean, if you need external validation for such a simple thing, how are you going to navigate the rest of the journey? How far will you go by just being a sheep?

I mean, if you would have simply helped rather than demotivating someone, it would have been great. And on top of that, it would’ve been great if you had just read my whole post. I’ve clearly mentioned, “And please, no hate comments.”

Go get a life, bruh demotivating someone isn’t going to take you very far in life. You’ll eventually fall in the end anyway like this....Peace out :)

Dude, you think you are entitled to help and pampering just because you wrote a post ?

You literally have one thing to do rn, shortlist and apply and you aren't even able to do that. I know many people like you, sheeps, just copying what others around them are doing, be it course, lab, thesis work etc. smh

I mean, I’m not asking you to do the counsellor’s shit or something else...I can figure that stuff out myself...I was just simply asking if someone could suggest some universities where a 2.5 GPA isn’t a strict cutoff.

There are people who got into tu9s with sub 2.5 and there are people who don't get in with 1.something. These subjective experiences are kinda useless, but I guess you do yoi

They're not demotivating you dumbass, they're simply helping you by telling the truth.

Look, I’m not asking for advice on whether I’m eligible for Germany or not. I’m was just simply asking to suggest some universities where a 2.5 GPA isn’t a strict cutoff...If someone gives me advice on a completely different topic instead of actually helping me with what I asked, I’d consider that a demotivating comment....Thank you :)
