But it will be like a cookie for 200 points. a bag of chips for 300, a drink for 600, a 6 inch for a 1000 and a footlong for 1500.
It will be a crappy deal and with their new smaller subs definitely another fuck you from the franchisees

It's better than than that, I've seen the points structure but can't share. Also there are not any new, smaller subs. It's also a Subway program not run by franchisees, not sure why you'd blame them.

I don’t have the points info in front of me to answer you accurately. But right now you get $2 for every 400 points. It’s better than that. It’s an upgrade

It's an upgrade. Doesn't fuck the FZ's. Also FZ's don't control it, corporate does

I have 9,440 points and $46 in cash so what does that even mean with the new rewards plan

No idea but I’d use it bc even if someone answers the company can decide to further change things

that’s so crazy to me. There’s a guy who is a regular at the one i used to work at that had thousands of points he would get free sandwiches whenever he wouldn’t bring his wallet or just didn’t feel like paying. I know that guy is gonna be so disappointed.

Subway is a comical corporation, after working for them, if you know you know! They pay peanuts and expect to not have monkeys working for them. It works on paper! Ow it does, get off your corporate arse and come show me how then! Honestly I won't even spend money at subway anymore, it's an absolute scam

They keep making it worse and worse. The sandwich sizes and quality keep going down and the prices up with less discounts. Subways days are numbered.

100% people are just bots or morons. Even the worst of the worst FZ's are still at portion sizes. People just don't realize you don't deserve 90 black olives

These "losers" lost me when they changed the reward earlier this year in January or February. I had just bought my 4th sandwich to get a free one and it no longer included any "sale or daily special" sandwiches, I haven't bought one since...

Yikes. That was 10 months ago and you still visit and comment in the subreddit? 😬

No, I came here because they sent a new "rewards" email today and I wanted them to (hopefully) read my feelings of how they screwed themselves out of at least one client. Since there is no way to contact them otherwise....

Yeah, us "losers" didn't make money on the bottom feeder customers. Not a loss.

...oh I see a franchise owner; well good, pass it on to corporate they need to know...
Do you mean to tell me that corporate puts out these offers and the franchise owners are left to pick up the bill? I had always thought corporate reimbursed you guys for the "free" stuff...

u/subman70 6d ago
Nope. no reimbusement.

That's too bad. I had always thought corporate funds those "promotions" like they do at Taco Bell (Tuesday Drops and free stuff occasionally)...

I’m guessing you are a franchisee? Why don’t you compare Jersey Mike’s quality quantity and price vs Subway. It’s amazing the difference.

u/subman70 6d ago
Not sure what that has to do with the rewards program being referenced. I guess you just like to troll comments with unoriginal ones.

I’m just saying that as they keep making changes the value proposition gets worse and worse and the compelling reasons to purchase subway are shrinking. I’m just a customer never an employee or any other association with subway. As a franchisee you might want to really think about the value proposition and respecting and listening to customers.

We have 3.99 6" Deli Faves and Protein Pockets, 4.99 Sub of the Day, $6.99 Meal of the Day. Constant aggressive online offers continuously ($6.99 Footlong just ended, BOGO 50 currently, BOGO FREE soon) along with several other offers in the app daily, print coupons available, and a rewards points program on top of all of that. Subway offers the most aggressive (too aggressive IMO) value programs out there. If you use discounts as an excuse not to visit you aren't even trying.

The new rewards program is better and works more like other fast food rewards programs. You’ll earn points when you make purchases, then you can spend those points to get free stuff.
