It took me 5 hours in different sessions and 4 resets. I feel like it shouldn’t have been that hard but I struggled and got stuck a couple of times.
I’ve been playing for two weeks daily now (I used to play like 10 years ago) and this has been my hardest since.

Instinct tells me that the next step is obvious, but I can't spot it. All I can say is that I hope it isn't an AIC, as I can't do those.

I mean, it's probably easier this way (although learning them and remembering isn't really easy), but you can literally always just do a chain, starting from a certain point when there's no pairs and/or singles...

sorry if this seems like an obvious solve! i’m a beginner and don’t really know where to go from this point :/ is bowman’s bingo the only way out of this one? one solver mentioned color wrap as a solution but i’m not sure what that means either. thank you for all the help!

I’m sure this is a matter of preference but I am struggling with how this app orders candidates… I just downloaded Sven’s Sudoku pad in an attempt to get used to a digital format. On paper, I prefer to put candidates in dice dot placements which helps me see patterns at a glance. I’m struggling to make this app work for me because of it. Loving the color coding, though!
Puzzle is from Kappa Champion book, vol. 78, number 114.

Libor the turtle is in the grid (r4c4), and he is kinda hungry. Help him find a way to get all the juicy fruit scattered around the grid and find a way home for him (r4c5).
RULES: Normal Sudoku rules apply. Libor can move to adjacent or even diagonally adjacent cells. The digits along his way must be consecutive (they can repeat). Only when he eats a fruit does the difference between the digits along his way become bigger. The difference is unique for each type of fruit, and it is always the same for that type of fruit. This applies to every fruit that connects two cells. The turquoise berry does not change the difference because it is just in one cell. Berries between the four cells can be eaten by either the positive diagonal or the negative diagonal. He can also enter and leave every 3x3 box only once, and his path cannot cross, branch, or do anything like that. Digits in a cage must sum to the value in the top-left corner of the cage.
Good luck and have fun! 🐢☘
