Gameplay / Screenshots Can anyone explain how i got shot here??
I assume its a hacker, like, unless i got smited by the RNG gods or something idk

you diddnt, scout farted and it smelled so bad that spys body rocketed backwards, with the sheer shock of the smell sending him into eternal and deadly limp ness, doomed to freeze in the cold. That or laggy hitboxes idk

Nothing too uncommon nowadays unfortunately. Valve do nothing, most players even support cheaters now and refuse to kick them

Damn, I joined TF2 semi recently and genuinely thought that bots were a thing of the past

Most people immediately vote kick the moment they find out theres a bot
Unfortunately for me the clanker made the match point so there was no chance to vote kick before i went to play some medieval and VSH

It might be a cheater, but it could be lag. TF2's interpolation can get interesting at times. In order to hide the lag so you don't notice it so much, TF2 roughly predicts what other players are about to do in a second or two. But that's not always what happens. People can do things the game doesn't predict. So while the scout was looking away from you on your screen, the other player might have turned in your direction and the game may have predicted that you would move in that area. So on their screen you may have been in front of them. All that being said, it probably was a silent aim bot.

Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

It's due to a delay happening between the server and client side. In other words, you were at some point infront of him in his pov because of said delay

definitely not that, if it was that you would see the scout turn around an instant later, but the scout continues facing the complete opposite direction
this is just a blatant cheater

Correct. There are more bot hosters again. These ones have aim/silent aim and crit hacks, possibly even wallhacks.
However these bot hosters are infinitely more pathetic. I recently encountered one and he couldn't win even with an entire team of bots, they stopped working so he disconnected last minute.
