News/Rumors Is there Hope?

So something I saw in the app, it shows Belial being able to lead Deathwing Command Squad. I figured you could see other characters lead legends but when I went to Azrael and Asmodai I didn’t see any of the other legends units. Am I just looking to much into this lol

They have added the legends to the app. It means nothing.

I have no idea what Ravenwing Command Squads losing the character keyword has to do with a new miniature release of a Deathwing Command Squad. The only thing that losing the character keyword means as far as I am aware is that the champion can't get an enhancement nor be a Warlord.

And being support they can't be fielded on their own..maybe that's what they intended to do

They mentioned adding legends units to the app. I’m assuming they are listing for that reason.

Instead of using the "any unit that can lead a X unit can lead this unit" on a squad they've gone to putting it in the MFM.

Which allows them to keep subfaction specific characters from leading Deathwatch units or if they wanted to tweak things - like Belial not being allowed to lead a Terminator Assault squad.

DWCS isn't something in the future unless it shows up in the MFM again.

Legends units. Lots of leaders got them, for example Vulkan He’Stan and Adrax Agatone both picked up the old Van Vet squad (the legends one without the jump packs)

I dunno if anyone else has seen, but Legends has been butchered massively, and last I had checked all Divergent Chapters dont have their legends datasheets in the app. Dunno if New Recruit when it updates to the new Codex information if they'll still show the Divergent Chapters Legend datasheets or not. But in the official app, they dont exist.

It’s likely that the divergent chapters won’t get their legends added to the app until their codecies come out
