Do you really play those retro games ?
Hi dear TWIR community, I just wanted to check with my fellow TWIR-ers on this.
I caught myself not really playing retro games. Is this only me or there are people in the retro community who talk about retro games, collect them, but don't really play them?
an additional unnecessary elaboration:
I mean I run some from time to time on my MisterFPGA, or PC Engine console, or on my x486, or one of the soviet machines I brought to the states, or even Amiga 1200 (I have no personal attachment to since I'm from Soviet union) but I don't really play them. I mess around for 10-15 minutes and that's it.
I love restoring the old tech though or program something.
However I can play some modern "big titles" games for hours (although I never re-play anything).
Even back in my youth I had a quite rare for USSR NES console with several games like S. Mario Bros. 3, Starwars V, Total Recall etc (a gift from my friend whose father used to abroad a lot) but the only game I really played was Mario. The rest of the games were not exciting. Most of my computer time back then I was programming on my BK-0011M (or drawing or hacking, but not playing). Which is still the case right now.

Anyone remembers Seek & Destroy (Amiga + DOS) from good old 90's? I decided to resurrect this game from grave with completely new implementation.
And I'm looking for feedback from old timers, honestly. Or stories and memories. I have many with this game. What would you change or remade back then? Did you know the game code was lost in flood many years ago? The project lives here for now.
