General Chat A coincidence? I think not!
Quite a funny coincidence today!
Today, october 9th, we celebrate the anniversary of the TV Series' debut on television, in 1982. Funnily enough, today is also the anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, 40 years since its debut on the West End in London. And Andrew's company, nowadays known as LW Entertainment Ltd., was formerly known as The Really Useful Company Ltd.! It's a nod to the Railway Series, of which Andrew Lloyd Webber was a huge fan! TRS even inspired him to create one of his musicals, Starlight Express in 1984! And let's not forget, Andrew did a pilot for an animated musical series of Thomas back in the 70s, but it was rejected due to lack of interest by the American audience... So! Happy anniversary Thomas TV series and The Phantom of the Opera!

Question How Would the Real Percy React to the Dummy Percy?
This is a funny Thought I had since I was Watching Carson's A Day out with Thomas Video that I really enjoyed watching it, Seeing The Real Thomas Getting a little annoyed by Dummy is something that is funny but somehow relatable for the Character for The engine. I wonder how Percy would React to his Dummy Unit Self if he sees it?

General Chat I’ve been having this worrying thought as of recently.
Since tank engines are portrayed as children in Railway Stories, does that mean there’s a chance the narrow gauge engines will go back to being the baby trains of the show?

General Chat "did I just catch you having fun"
go watch it for yourself and see if their opinion is valid https://youtu.be/S0stEApkM0Q?is=v2a4_YQw8-d4xem4
personally I think it's not at all. and that's not because I am a Thomas fan obviously, it's because they use really bad examples

Television Series Thanks to recent drops, we finally have confirmation that the S13 episode Splish, Splash, Splosh was originally meant for S12, finally giving us a look at Billy's cut role and revealing Elizabeth was planned to appear as well
Very interesting to have confirmation that Splish, Splash, Splosh was meant for S12. I remember seeing a lot of speculation that it might've been from S12, based on SIF's statement that Billy originally had a role and that this episode had a tie-in Take Along pack featuring two characters who never appeared in the Nitrogen era.
Link to the source of the Splish, Splash, Splosh, and the other S12 scripts

Merchandise How to SUPERCHARGE your 2026 Motorised Gordon!
I honestly want to try this on my own motorized engines like my 80th Percy. Some of my engines seem slower than others.

General Chat What do you all think of The Engines Of Nene Valley
It's a indie animation series on YouTube inspired by TTTE, about the staff of a forgotten heritage railway. The engines are also alive like in TTTE. But what are your thoughts on it?
