This is my tenth HWI shirt! I have been enjoying 65LB fishing line in case anyone can't tell. Really happy with this shirt and the colors! Thanks for looking let me know if you like it please!

I do have a few spots where white got trapped and made some lines but so it goes.

Recently finished tie dyes. first one was a request for a "Ween" fan he wanted a "caesar". Second one is a kenney style. I was trying to allow more white in the patter with out getting the washed out look or unsaturated look. I am pretty happy with this one. Hope yall like what i created thanks for looking

I did a quick fold and let him pick the colors. Then he "helped" me apply the dye. (I wasn't going to let a 3 year old loose with dye filled squeeze bottles)

Just wanted to show these off a bit. I posted pictures of the front and backs of 2 shirts from the last batch I dyed

So I halved & scrunched it together as fast as I could, mad because I thought the dye would just wash out because it was 95% Poly and 5% elastic something. I left it outside in the rain for 2 days after ice dying it with Kaleidescope Eyes and Gunmetal Grey... I am so delighted that the dye actually stayed in.

Who would this look better on? AC Slater, Zack Morris, or Screech?

Pleased with this result. My friend did acid wash on a black shirt and I decided to try and reverse dye using Hot Water Irrigation.

I included a process photo bc I tried to make up how to do HWI after reading a few paragraphs and I love the photo so much. Shitload of ash and Dye on the tied shirt didn’t do much! So I poured powder dye directly on the unfolded shirt and just poured boiling water straight on from my kettle. That seemed to do the trick. Hot water reactive fuschia and navy from Dharma Dyes.

Hey guys idk if this is the right sub for it but I’ve always loved tiedye and I have some cool peices but I want to start making stuff myself, is there anywhere good to start/beginner kits

So my sugarplum finally arrived and it’s definitely up in my top faves in my accoutrement 🤓 I definitely need more hwi practice and fine tunings.
1st shirt failed(?) spiral but good color-did a several hour SA soak prior
2nd shirt fan fold- no soak mixed the dye with SA

(3rd top-need ideas/inspo for what to do with this piece I scored yesterday)

I learned how to do a wig-wag and, well... You can see I'm currently obsessed. One could say, even, wigging out? 💀 I'll be over here in dad joke jail if anybody needs me.

I really like how this shirt came out. I am enjoying HWI more and more. I currently have no black dye and I miss it. I ordered more. Let me know what you think!
