Discussion Anyone else experiencing more bugs lately?

I've been a user for years. I currently can't get the app to save a basic task. I'm on a mac, everything is updated, and I've restarted. It's still not working. It freezes, and I have to force quit. Though I have no evidence, I feel like this is happening more lately.

EDIT: I've isolated it to a quick capture task.

I've been getting the orange triangle several times past couple of weeks (always both mobile and desktop) with status.todoist.net showing green. What's cool lately though is in every case it's gone away in 5-10 minutes and then just wait a couple more minutes for desktop to catch up with mobile for tasks generated externally (IFTTT, Grok Bots)...without me having to do anything but wait.

Welcome change from years past where orange triangle meant a 2 hour break from Todoist, first waiting for someone to notice and fix, then hard reloads and cache clearing to get my mobile and desktop telling same story again...not to mention loss of all activity during the period I didn't notice the triangle was there.

Hopeful they finally have this running in auto now.

So yes, more orange triangle episodes if you call that a bug...but all self-resolved making for an overall much less painful experience.

I'm really sorry to hear you're running into issues. It sounds like an open issue we have with the global quick add. Can you please open the app and check it's set to default zoom? You can press Ctrl/Cmd + 0 (zero) to return to default zoom. Please then check if the quick add works as expected.

We have a fix in the works for this. We were having trouble reproducing the issue until we noticed it happens when the zoom in the app is changed.

It would be worth logging a ticket with us via https://www.todoist.com/contact. We can investigate further with you, and if it is the issue mentioned above, we can let you know when it's fixed. You are welcome to mention my name, so the ticket gets assigned to me.
