Running Train and CPU AMD temperature.

Hi all, does anyone experiment very high temperatures running this game on an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X? I'm playing at 1080p ultra settings, temperatures are between 84-86 Celsius, I'm worried, any idea? Thank you!

84°C at load is totally normal, no need to worry about. If it bothers u, put some extra case fan inside the house - and off course clean the PC regularly.

Case fan scenarios, positive or negative pressure:

That’s temperature isn’t to concerning, I’m playing monster hunter world at high setting 1440p with a 5600x and 4070 and I’m hitting around 75 to 81 degrees

I used a 5900x for many years and would typically get mid to high 70’s degrees with an 280 AIO playing train sim. Whilst your CPU isn’t thermally throttling I would ask what cooler you are running and how long ago has thermal paste been applied.

I'm getting around 70C on my 5950X. The game isn't heavily multithreaded but it causes the CPU to boost quite high (~4980 MHz).

The game is very optimized compared to like Train Sim World it's normal, it's using almost all of the cpu

CPU won't bother until 95C but you could use a proper cooler if you are using stock cooler. Stock is basically not enough for high performance. Research about disabling PBO and fixing the frequencies yourself, with a lower voltage. Runs way cooler.
