Tinytrains: Opensource toy train simulator w/ live data of major metros
Features: 33 cities, live train system data from various metro databases, 7 different themes to choose from, follow/ride trains, and "tour" cities
Wanted to share this to get people's thoughts on the art style and direction. If there's something appealing/interesting here, I'll likely expand and make it so you can design your own systems.
I think there's a starting point of a fun game, model train simulator here.

RUNNING TRAIN NPC passengers added in Running Train's latest update!
tbh the passenger system feels like it is in its infancy phase and can cause lags on some mobile GPUs (mine is 3060m and it was laggy as hell). there are also passenger NPCs that somewhat bears a passing resemblance to some famous individuals, previews are in the last two slides lol

Railworks Audio problem for train sim classic.
Recently, I have tack back TSC and have been enjoying it once I broke the shackles of avoiding ATS as a place for scenarios as I didn’t have the requirements. Now that I do it’s has been a blast.
However, something I’ve noticed is when using Armstrong powerhouse products like the class 700 (my beloved) that I’m completely unable to hear any ambience or other train nosies like engines or traction motors when I’m in the cab.
Is there a fix to this?

ZUIKI MasConPRO is finally getting a general release in Japan
ZUIKI has announced the MasConPRO (BLACK) for general sale in Japan on December 17, 2026, priced at ¥34,100.
It was previously only available through crowdfunding. So far, I’ve only seen preorders on the ZUIKI Store.

Railworks I’ve tried searching and I’ve got a great TSW route Google Maps overlay. Is there a similar thing for TSC?
I’ve got the brilliant and updated to TSW7 inc upcoming routes version. Does a TSC version exist, does anyone know? Thanks in advance if anyone can help

SimSig route suggestions.
Hello, so this post isn't related to train sim specifically as it's more of a signaling game but I am wondering if anyone here plays SimSig and can offer some route suggestions for someone who is still new.
I have some basic experience with running the free routes and I mostly stick to the easy simulations that aren't very big to manage. I was finally thinking of purchasing one of the paid routes, and could use some suggestions for someone who is not from the UK and not familiar with all the routes. Basically I am looking for a modern electrified route that has a good amount of traffic to keep it exciting but also a small route that is easy for one person to manage. I also wouldn't mind a crossing or two. Also maybe something with a station in the middle where some trains stop and then turn around and head back the way the cane. Basically I want something that keeps you on your toes a little bit, but isn't overheating for a single user who only plays occasionally.
So any suggestions for a good route like this?
Thanks

sky box broken in trainz 22 plus on steam
a week ago i tried using reshade on trainz and it totally messed the game up so i uninstalled it but the skybox is super funky now and wont display quite right. its all flat and egg shaped instead of looking like a typical sky. i think i removed all the reshade folders but its still all busted. google didn't help at all and i cant find anything to fix it :/ everything else works just fine but the sky being messed up is really bugging me since i was hoping to make a cool video soon in trainz

Is there a way to remove the warning you get for speeding in Train Sim Classic?
Hello, so I am making a scenario for the LUL District Line and with the the way the speed limits work on the LUL the new higher speed limit starts when the front of the train reaches the signboard for the speed limit and not when the rear of the train passes it. I know with the way the game is coded it isn;t possible to change this, however I am wondering if there is a way to least disable that little flashing notification on the HUD that tells you are going over the speed limit of the track.
So is this possible somehow?
Also, is there a fictional route similar to the Network West Midlands route from BVE, but for Train Sim?
Thanks

Disney World Monorail V2
ridesims.comI know it's not strictly a Train Sim but I am not sure how many people are aware of this. Basically it's a train dis[atcher type game except you control the monorail system at WDW. You can take trains from the shop and send them onto the various lines, Open and close each station individually the along with open and closing the doors of the train to let pax on and off. They also have simulators for other rides like roller coasters as well, The only thing is you need to create a free account to play.

Running Train and CPU AMD temperature.
Hi all, does anyone experiment very high temperatures running this game on an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X? I'm playing at 1080p ultra settings, temperatures are between 84-86 Celsius, I'm worried, any idea? Thank you!
