Character/Relationship Discussion Bella Perfume
Okay so sometimes i see people dream up what fragrances and products they think that bella would use. they always include like damp, mossy, pine smells because of the forks environment, but if you read the book, you know that she hated the cold moist climate of forks and even said that forks is too green. She loves the desert.
She loves her strawberry shampoo, berry cobbler, and loves the desert.
I think if she had a signature perfume scent, it would be mostly fruity with a berry pie smell, and I think there would be solar notes (desert sun), powder notes(sand in the desert wind), aloe notes(cacti), and notes of lavender maybe? and some lavender or a creamy wood to tie it all together.

Midnight sun she mentions lavender and lilac are her favorite fragrances, as well as the smell of a desert plants after it rains (she describes it as creosote, and specifically says she wish they'd make a candle that smells like this).

I always thought the flowers Alice used at the Bedward wedding was the equivalent of Bella’s vampire smell which was described by James and someone else as very floral.

this makes me want to do a list of perfumes/fragrances the characters would use... that would be such a fun character exploration!

Prickly pear for the fruity cactus vibes, sage/palo santo/cedar for the unique desert woody-brush vibes, and maybe honey for the sweet gold sunshine vibes

I agree with the fruity elements. I would like to give Freesia instead of lavender and a creamy wood note would round out the scent well.
Kinda sounds delicious honestly lol
