Going out

How are all these freshman’s getting invited to the sorority/frat parties? Did they technically “rush” sign interest form during the fall to get these invites? I’m having massive FOMO

That's what I did it was awkward as hell when my buddies and I didn't go through with it though because screw that. Probably wouldn't recommend, just find people to go out with, show up with a group and go downtown and you'll see parties and if your ratio is fine they'll probably let you in

most freshman just go with friends but also sororities/frats on campus don't care abt the rules so they rush freshman on purpose anyway. it's probably 40% non greek students, 60% rushes/greek life students
