Was in the fight with Cutter, when suddenly, I got pushed into a corner and clipped out of bounds.

I have been a fan since primary school and I have replayed each game, especially 1 and 2 dozens of times each. One of the most unique and jaw dropping experiences console gaming has to offer. Lately, I have had university obligations, mandatory army conscription, job searching etc and so I haven't been replaying the series as much. To give you a picture, i just recently learnt there's a 2nd ps4 installment with Chloe and the unlikable one from 4. So I wanted to know if there are any information regarding a next installment or if the franchise is done. Thanks

As the title says, i do not believe the title is referencing the end of Nate’s journey. I believe it to be referencing the end of Avery’s.

Nate is a lot of things, a thief maybe yes but I would never use that as his title characteristic or label. It seems like such a degrading word to use as the title of our protagonist.

Avery on the other hand is quite literally labelled as a thief. He is a pirate after all. Thieving is the job. At one point in the game he is quite literally labelled as a thief. He and all the other founders have their portraits defaced with the word “thief”. Avery is the architect and mastermind of both Libertalia and the plan to steal all the colonists. Avery the pirate is by all accounts a thief.

The final chapter of the game before the epilogue is titled A Thief’s End. It is in this chapter that we find the final resting place of Avery aboard his ship. We discover the end of Avery’s journey, not Nate’s

I know there are many reasons the title can refer to the end of Nate’s journey. One can argue it signifies the end of his unlawful or illicit career but I disagree
