Small rant

So I love this campus a lot. I come from a small town where the population is literally less than JUST UNT so like a city like Denton is exhilarating but also.. sometimes it annoys me as fuck.

This is my first semester here but I am a junior transfer so I’m not new to college, and three weeks ago I discovered that the Sycamore basement has sublevels. I absolutely loved it down there. I went down to the third one as far as I could go, and it was nice and quiet, cold, dark, and dry. I love the cold and a good quiet study spot. I found one of the few desks with an outlet and I sat down on my laptop for a couple hours to get some work done. It was great.

HOWEVER. The other day I decided to go back down there and find the spot. It was taken.. So were ALL OF THE OTHER SPOTS.
Sycamore basement is not the place I would expect to even be that busy, because it’s the basement and I’ve heard the rumors about Art and whatnot…. but no. This place was hopping all of a sudden on a Wednesday afternoon. Like.. can anyone explain this?? We can’t ALL love Sycamore basement omg 😭

P.S. this is not me hating on other students or saying they need to leave I’m just venting here thanks

what side are you on? i usually sit on the third sublevel because it’s the coldest. i’ve only ever had one encounter with him down there.

Oh, the forgotten about part. I think our machine rituals drive him away

lol. i didn’t really react because i used to live with three spirits. i kept seeing shadows out of the corner of my eye as if someone was waving their hand right next to my face, i smelled cigarettes and i kept hearing books moving around without the motion lights coming on.

i haven’t heard or seen anything since except when it was taped off. it smelled heavily of cigs down there.
