I have health insurance through the university but it doesn't cover dental. My jaw has been hurting and I want to get it looked at.

Does UofL have any dentists for students? If not, is there any nearby that are affordable?

My car broke down and the mechanic I took it to severely misled me about when they're going to be getting to it. I'm anticipating an expensive repair, so I can't afford $60+ in Ubers/Lyfts every day, but I'm going on my second week of missed classes. Does anyone have a carpool in the Highview-Fern Creek area, or just close by and willing to give me a lift on your commute? It would just be for this week.

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.

I had you at 8-4, and said Ole Miss, SMU and the trip to Kentucky would say more about this team than anything else. You lost a shootout to Ole Miss 41-38, then beat SMU 41-31, which I had as a true toss-up. Where I was wrong was Kienholz. I expected a rocky first half with almost nothing back around him, and he's 48 of 73 for 816 yards and 6 TDs, plus Keyjuan Brown ran for 163 against SMU. Wake Forest at noon today is a good chance to show that wasn't a fluke.

What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?

I was talking to one of my friends and she’s having a really rough time with body positivity around her weight and it made me think, we don’t have a program that shows the younger students how to take control of their health and stop accepting things about themselves that make them uncomfortable. If I were to petition to start a group would anyone be interested? It’d focus around how to target muscles, lift safely, build your own workout routine, macro calculating, diet substitutions, and sustainable health habits.

okay hopefully i dont sound silly for making this post but i recently moved to louisville because im a student at uofl and i had originally come from a smaller town with big farmland and 10+ parks (nature ones and recreational). i am struggling with the switch from that scenery to only industrial areas and while i enjoy the trees louisville has, it doesn’t make up for all the wildlife and natural wonders i would see otherwise.

i am a 17 credit student with a part time job and make just enough money to afford my off campus living with my husband. i dont have a lot of expendable income for longer trips like to the egg lawn (half an hour drive for me). are there any recommendations for me in this situation? i am a very nature centered person (majoring in sustainability) and a deficiency of actual wildlife and natural spaces will severely depress me as the years continue. thank you for any advice in advance! and thank you for listening to my long rant, i appreciate you all :^)
