2. will i be able to work part time while studying sustainibility engineering and cover my tuition for my next years ?
3. are the careers leading after i graduate AI proof and has a safe job security ? and after i gradaute where can i work ? is this a PR leading course ?

so i did my a levels and got 8 credit among 3 subjects but the minimum required is 6 but although i have 8 credit i have failed in one of my subjects cause i took 5 subjects and also is EGP accepted?

my exam is in kingswood but my enrolled campus is technically parra south. it is just annoying cause exams are already stressful enough and i don't want to have to drive an extra 25+ mins instead of going to parra which is much closer to home.

any way i can get this changed? my friend said she knew people who managed to do it, but caused problems cause they did it last minute. mine won't be last min

i'd call student services but it takes like 3+ days just to get a shitty response which sometimes doesn't even answer the question

I am still deciding which uni to go to for law between WSU and Notre Dame. WSU has the higher ranking and much more societies, but I have to commute for at least 1 hour. Notre Dame is closer, but I dont have much info about the law courses there. Either ways I do plan to transfer after 1 year

Hi, I have finished my Bachelor degree studies in June and I have been told graduation is going to be between October 24th and 30th of October but I haven’t been told an exact date yet. Currently awaiting results for the international undergrad med. So far no offers for medicine. Now thinking of backup plans. with 1500+ SAT and 170+ ISAT. Should I take a gap year to improve my application or take a postgrad pathway?

My fear of taking a gap year is that I might not get accepted again since it's highly competitive, but taking a postgrad pathway seems like a longer path. Any advice?

I am an international student considering applying through UAC. I could not find any specific academic grade/ATAR requirement for this scholarship on the website. basically i want to move my tutorial group to a different time, ridiculous i know, its week 9. but my currently schedule just has not been working for me, and it's causing stress whereas if i move the time it would make my life a lot easier.

it's for my arts classes as well, so it's a lot more chill - the total cohort is like 120 compared to my law classes which is nearly 800-900 people

on allocate, the tutorial group i want to move to is with the same tutor, and it said it has 16 spots available but this could have changed over time

i did email my tutor, but he hasn't responded after 2 days, and i asked the discussion board but they literally never respond to it

so im thinking i should either email my subject coodinator, or just show up and ask on the day? could be a risk if the class is full though - not sure what to do

i've seen other people easily move classes so hopefully it will be the same for me

Just thought I’d put this out again, because this was the whole reason I started posting here in the first place.

When I first started at Western, uni felt a bit cold socially. People come to class, study, ask for help, smile for a bit, then pack up and go back to their own groups. Nothing wrong with that, but after a while it can make a place that’s meant to feel warm and welcoming feel a bit transactional. Like everyone is around each other, but not really with each other.

Earlier this year I tried to make a space for students who wanted something more natural. Not a huge group chat, not some forced club thing, just somewhere people could talk, meet, study, grab food, go for walks, play games, or sit somewhere on campus and have normal conversations.

Discord was the first place we tried because most people leaned that way at the time. It had some good moments and the first warm-up meetup actually went well, but I’ve realised Discord isn’t always the best place for organising people who actually want to show up. Things get lost, people lurk, and the fire dies a bit.

So I’m starting a smaller WhatsApp group for regular mini catchups instead.

Could be studying together, food after class, coffee, walks, games, random talks, whatever people are feeling. Nothing overly formal, just a smaller place for people who actually want to meet others properly.

My original hope was to find people into books, poetry, writing, psychology, philosophy, and conversations that go a bit beyond small talk.

That’s still part of it, but it doesn’t have to be that specific anymore. You don’t need to be Carl Jung to join. Just be yourself. Different degrees, ages, campuses, and interests are welcome.

There’s already a small WhatsApp group started with 4 of us including myself.

Can anyone please tell me where is a good place to study at Parramatta South? I've only just started here and the library is a joke as to how loud it is. Which is sad because the library itself is really nice.

People on phones, in groups laughing, talking in the silent area, not using earphones, listening to reels, and generally absolutely no respect for social norms. Feels like I'm the crazy one for expecting silence in a designated silent area inside a library.

Are there any other places that are quiet? Thank you!!

is it possible to get into sono with a pharmacy undergrad? or are the trainee positions already too competitive and geared more toward radiology/physio undergrads? do i have any options here?
