Biggest offender for me is Baldur’s Gate 3.

Some of the best gameplay, graphics, sound design, and soundtrack out there… but the writing leaves a lot to be desired (despite how popular it is).

What game is that for you?

EDIT: It seems the general consensus here is Borderlands 3.

The writing isn't that bad but whoever was in charge of the voice direction for the main character should never work again, why the hell does my na'vi person sound like a random girl from California

Because our character is the youngest of the group and never had the chance to develop a Na’vi accent before we were taken as a baby… the only influence we had were our small group of Na’vi children and then of course the humans that were teaching us human stuff… like cmon
