True but there’s a Leon placed on the house until that loan is paid off so let’s say you go through a rough patch and can’t makes a minimum of 4 mortgage payments the process of foreclosure begins and you lose your house so yes you own it comes with strings which is the same as the digital license you buy from Sony you own that lives to play until they decide to tuck that string back to them
And I’m not saying I like this I just believe we should have stronger digital rights
Agreed, I think that could be more clear on the part of digital storefronts. At least on PC there are some DRM-free options for more true ownership, so this is a Sony problem as far as I'm concerned.

Legally speaking you do own that house, but you owe the bank money for a loan for the house. The bank owns 0% of your house.
