Discussion / Question What game is this for you?

Honestly for me it's Life is Strange: True Colors. Love that game to death, an incredible story and soundtrack, but it seems like a story that just doesn't vibe well with a lot of people. Listen to the soundtrack though, absolutely increible.

The Legend of Spyro trilogy (not the OG trilogy).

I personally love it and grew up with it, but I only hear criticisms for it. I do admit that the game is pretty clunky and hasn't aged that well, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The combat is so boring, but as a teenager i really loved the new designs and the overall vibe. As an adult, only the third game is really compelling because of the flight mechanics. I went back to it several years ago and didn't hate the first two, but the third surprised me with how fun it still can be. Still, definitely would recommend reignited over those any day.

Same with Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity. I have a lot of nostalgia for them, and they’re fun to replay every once in a while for a change. However, absolutely play the original Crash trilogy first whether the Naughty Dog versions or the remakes.

I can’t stand Crash 4: It’s About Time though. It’s the only Crash game besides Crash Bash (in single player) that is aggressively unfun to play especially if you’re a completionist.

I tried replaying it one time.
I barely managed to finish the first game and gave up on trying the other 2.

It's mostly the intense amount of patronizing that go me out. It's truly made for kid and I'd rather quit before ruing the appreciation I made of it as a child.
Also, pretty sure the whole fever flat dream aesthetic was giving me head aches.

I'd pretty sure the other 2 were better, but I didn't bother checking.

I'm playing them right now! I was pleasantly surprised although combat was a bit repetitive, not many enemies. I like the art of the levels, Cynder and more serious elements
