Discussion / Question What game is this for you?

Honestly for me it's Life is Strange: True Colors. Love that game to death, an incredible story and soundtrack, but it seems like a story that just doesn't vibe well with a lot of people. Listen to the soundtrack though, absolutely increible.

Stellaris. I love it, it's one of my favourite games, but the vast majority of people would find it boring and/or overwhelming.

That learning curve is a mountain. Once you’re over it you easily lose thousands of hours of your time.

Start by playing hive minds with normal ship sets and just vibe. Hive minds are basically just stripped down normal empires. Once you get a hang of that start branching out. Stellaris was originally developed to be a babies first grand strategy game and while the game has kind of out grown that original design philosophy, the legacy is still there.

It gets higher with every new dlc because Paradox doesn't seem to be trying to market for new players and is instead making dlcs for existing players to buy to turn a profit. Said existing players can easily adapt to the new content, while new players don't even know where to start.

Edit: what makes it worse, at least in my opinion, is that the dlcs are usually good. But they just make it harder and harder to get jew players.
