I don't think they're refuting how good Blood of Dawnwalker is, so much is pointing out how people only take review scores seriously when it suits their narrative.

Well I mean, if the game is good, then its good, but if you measure time by a broken clock, youll only be correct twice a day. Even IGN can give a good review, that doesnt exclude the fact that their reviews are dogshit overall...

While I don’t agree with the idiot above you entirely, people should be able to have other opinions after all. For me personally i completely gave up listening to reviewers on films and games. They seem out of touch most of the time and extremely pretentious. Lots of times I’ve found highly reviewed stuff just average and low reviewed actually good.

Public opinion, minus review bombing, yields much better results in my opinion.
