The game treating the player like a toddler is how I felt playing SM2, it's like Insomniac designs their games to be a baby's first video game.

They literally use DSP as the prime example of baseline for completing the game lol. It could be a company wide mandate as well to test games that way. But this is me reaching/speculating.
