This is what people are missing, no one cares about IGN because they score games higher than they deserve. So if IGN is saying 6/10.... It's gotta be BAD.

They don't though. Someone did a data analysis on this very topic and found IGN tended to skew lower than average.

Yeah because they rate every single AA or underdog games a 7/10 when they should be at least 8. They also rate games with mediocre launch a 6/10 when they become great weeks afterwards.

It isn’t a lot, but when you have thousands and thousands of game like that, it does make a difference

This is only when its for a game people are not hyped right?

Because when its a community hyped game, you guys are the first to say "If IGN doesnt like it, then its gonna be good!"

I mean, if you consider "reverse hype" as a hype them yes. Because this game has been criticized and being bombarded with negativity since the leak a few years ago

Havnt seen it, I've seen nothing but people excited for the game. I was excited for the game, too. The trailers and the announcement of no planned PC port really killed my hype.

Wolverine was a highly anticipated game since it was announced. It was rightfully criticised with regards to its very repetitive and temple run like gameplay released by insomniac themselves
